Not a stupid question, but yes the cables are all bolted to steel work by hand, and the bolts will be tightened to a pre determined amount of torque.Another stupid question. In the video where the compression wiring is connected to the concrete how is it connected? Is it just screwed on by some guy or do they get a machine to do it so it's at a certain tightness. I'd find it strange that something so important and fixed for so long, could just rest on a man no screwing something in place well enough. Does that make sense?
Also I find it amazing how organised this is. There was a point in the video above where it looked like someone dumped a load of wood on the floor, and I could imagine myself standing there with my hands on my hips thinking 'Now what do I do from here' but everyone is just flying around doing stuff.
