Awful game, disappointing performance, but a first league win at home at Wembley is all that matters today.

COYS

Yeah exactly. Same shit we've seen at that stadium in the league but this time a win.
Gets that monkey curse off our back.

Hopefully performance picks up from now on

Sissoko has ripped this game up since he's come on. One over hit passs that still took a red card challenge to stop and clowns are all over him

Ripped the game up? Jesus Christ. What does that even mean.

He had one decent run which he bollocksed up the cross with and luckily got the rebound. Then he fudges the easiest pass in modern football.

His poor tEchnique offends me.

I think it's the atmosphere more than anything. If we don't score early, it makes it easy for the opposition to get their confidence up, and easy for our players to lose confidence. The crowd are getting more and more impatient the longer this barren run continues, which doesn't help either.
Think the crowd could tell after 5 minutes if we were up for it, no tempo from the kick off, looked like they all just woke up,
He made a couple of runs into open pitch left by a desperate Bournemouth. We could have brought Vorm on to do that and he'd probably have made two better passes at the end of it.
some can do no right

8 games in, one win at home, 3rd in the League. Could be a lot worse considering we've only won at home once.

Positive signs, winning when playing poorly. We move on to Madrid #COYS

Good day so far. Didn't have to exert ourselves too much either with Real on Tuesday. It's my fault for triple captaining Kane.

Not very convincing but a win is a win and when they are hard to come by at Wembley every single one counts, hopefully we use this as a springboard to get some good home form.

Kane doesn't look like he could score for us at Wembley on his best day at the minute, the second he does, the floodgates will open imo.

A solid performance. Winks terrific, Sissoko a real monster when he came on. Kane and Dele Alli somewhat off the pace today.
Verts had his best game in ages.
All in all

Palace win - please hold on
I don't believe it. For the second season running the one and only game I want Chelski to win and they lose to Palace, again.

Knocked me out of last man standing.

Consolation is the gap between us.

This won't go down in the memory long as far as performances go but we've had a cracking weekend with Chelsea losing unexpectedly against Palace and Utd and Liverpool both dropping points - albeit a credible point for the former.

Hoodoo (if we can honestly call it that) broken so hopefully from hereon we'll play with some more confidence and swagger at Wembley, putting team to the sword early.

Yes, I agree. The most important part is the 3 points gained. Puts us closer to United and keeps a bigger distance from Chelsea and Pool.
