Oh just to see our strongest 11 on the pitch. Can't recall an empty physio room regarding first teamers for yonks.

Yes, I understand that's why we have squads, but it just seems to be every time one of our first teamers take their game level up a gear or two, they end up crocked and missing for vast periods.

Would love to see how good we really are with a fit squad to select from.

Can't remember the last time our first choice 11 were all fit to start a game. If that's true and Wanyama is out for season that's a disaster imo. We can't even bring someone in January as we'll be left with too many DMs in summer.
We miss him, and desperately needed him for the away games against our rivals. He's a huge loss and we're a worse side without him.

Seeing a specialist this week so how would they know ahead of that?
He must have had scans done.Pretty remarkable it takes 2 months to see a specialist. It never ends well when specialist is mentioned.Invariable ends up in an operation.

Why it takes 2 months to see a specialist?

Knee was responding well to initial treatment and the he had a setback in his rehab. That's why they're seeing a specialist as it seems to be a bigger issue than originally thought.

Why does Poch have to lie about injuries - just tell the truth for fuck sake!
We could all see Kane hamstring had gone so why not be honest rather than giving us hope.
Wanyama - meant to be seeing a specialist for 2 weeks now.. clearly on his Instagram he was at specialist this week - again no news from Spurs - so suggests that's a bad one again- like the minor knock Rose took in Feb

I don't understand how we are so rubbish at updating fans on injuries and being honest

In a way I hope Kane is out the next week as then he gets a 2 week break from meaningless friendlies, again Poch being too nice allowing Southgate to play our lads for 90 mins every time - we all know Mourinho wouldn't allow this and this is why he is a winner and Poch so far isn't!
I just don't get this 'need' to be updated on this sort of thing, it's makes absolutely no difference to when the player returns so what difference does it make to you?

I can fully see the thinking behind not coming out on Monday and saying Kane's going to be out for x weeks, admittedly it didn't work, but Mourinho would've had an entire week to plan how to play against us, this way he had 2 days...it's not about being rubbish at updating the fans, it's choosing not to.
Surely you can see the logic in this and surely this is more important than appeasing the needy section of our fanbase?
Just seems a really odd thing to get wound up about to me.

What worries me, is we seem to have misfortune with the types of injuries our players have gotten over the last two seasons. Rarely is it a case of missing a couple of games, or just out for three weeks. Instead, we’re contending with long, long, long layoffs.
Rose - 8.5 months
Lamela - 1 year and counting
Winks - 5 months
Wanyama- 3 months and counting
Toby and Jan both missed five or six weeks each last season.
Harry - same issue
Dembele - chronic injury that requires constant care, and means he can only play 70 mins once a week
Janssen - 1 year (chronic goalshyness disease)

It’s nothing to do with our style of play or training I’d imagine. Just some shitty luck.

Who knows...could be that

We take a long time to see a specialist because the issue at first didn't appear to need it.

Surgery was put off with other players because it is always best to avoid surgery if possible.

Our medical team are very good, and do their best for us to look after players. This idea that they are somehow undermining us is ridiculous.

FFS, really hope it wasn't playing him against Chelsea when he was palpably unfit from the first minute that did it
