He's certainly a miss granted but his presence wouldn't singularly be turning draws against Swansea, Burnley, WBA etc to wins.Wanyama is such a miss.
Really could do with him in our engine room.

Anyone worth their salt shouldn't be gifting that ball awayHe wouldn’t be gifting the ball away like Dele did today which led directly to the goal we conceded though.
Agree and if we had a better squad someone like alli should be dropped for a few games and give him something to think about, clearing he thinks he is better than he really is although he is young and sometimes can have indifferent form.Let’s face it, we aren’t as good as we think we are. So far this season we haven’t been be able to back up a good result with a win even against weaker sides. Personally I think the players are getting very complacent.
Could you have driven a bus through the centre of their defence when we played them at Wembley?11 in 16 - but he's the top scorer in the CL.
See that Liverpool are set to replace us in the top four tonight which considering their sieve like defence is quite funny, but then they have the quality in attack to break teams down and stretch them unlike our sterile approach play.
Yeah...or perhaps not.
Welcome back btw your support was missed after the Dortmund match, this place felt empty in your absence.
I didn't watch the Dortmund mate as i was doing something more important but yes good to be back, especially seeing people like yourself and your enlightened posts I did miss them really I did.
The other big factors, are Wanyama out coupled with a less effective Dembele.
That was a monstrous midfield. I think it's making a difference to how and where we're winning the ball back.
The CL run is covering the cracks a bit but I can't think that many of us seriously thought that we were going to win the title? Top 4 again and a good run in the CL would represent a solid season. An FA cup final would be the icing on the cake.it's hilarious that people keep mentioning City, as though they're the only ones currently standing between us and a title win.
Jamie Carragher is 100% correct with what he said earlier this week. We get such an easy press, it's untrue. both Liverpool and Arsenal have been absolutely slaughtered at times this season for being poor, yet Liverpool are only a point behind us and Arsenal may well be ahead of us by the end of today. Chelsea have been in and out of crisis mode all season, yet are ahead. Man U's own fans hate watching them, yet they're ahead too. and then there's us, good old Tottenham. and no-one's being anywhere NEAR as critical about us as any of them. as a result, we're believing our own hype, but the truth is we're just not as good as we think we are.

Yes without name dropping there was some on here who thought we had a chance and that there was not a lot between city and us.Did anyone really think we'd be fighting for the title this season?
Our title charges the last two seasons were based on home form. It was always very obvious that Wembley was never going to be the fortress that WHL was.
Ignoring any logistical differences, the players clearly would have felt more comfortable and used to WHL.
As long as we finish in the top 4 and have CL football at NWHL next season, I'll be happy.
15-16 season we were as good away as home 36 at home 34 away. Only 70 Pts.Last season was a one off only a couple of title winners have beaten that home record. 15-16 we drew too many games. We were never going to win the league at Wembley plus we are not yet at that level. Would hope that the new stadium will lead to us competing for top players although prob not 100m rangeDid anyone really think we'd be fighting for the title this season?
