Looked 10 times better after Lamela came on, he is head and shoulders above any other player for seeing quick passes and Dele and Eriksen really do need some competition and/or rest.

Just STOP with Llorente, go and get any of our youth strikers and give them a game. Its nothing to do with his miss tonight, that happens to every player, we just never ever ever look better when he comes on, ever. Every time he comes on when we are losing i think "game gone" or if we are leading "he won't score".
It's like going down to 10 men, seems to do absolutely nothing.

I swear to fuck Llorente is one of 'those' players you can just guarantee will fail. Not necessarily everywhere, just with us. Pretty much everyone I discussed it with on deadline day said something along the lines of "he's not gonna score at all is he."

Lamela released balls quicker and one-time. Eriksen has the ability to do it but low confidence and seemingly burnt-out is taking his toll. Everyone is affected by recent slump, chose safer passages of passes and became so slow. Lamela was thus such breath of new air.

Dele needed his confidence back real quick. Wanting him to stop his flicks and nutmegs is impossible. I just hope the refs can grow some balls and give him some fouls certain of him. He needs to be protected in the game, to put it old-fashioned way. England needs him to be his best if coming WC is to be successful. Currently the refs are just destroying him from pissed and pussy officiating.

I really don't see how people can majorly criticise that and be so suicidal. They scored two bangers and our finishing was very poor, frustrating but much more encouraging than Saturday. COYS
I don't think opinion is based just on this game alone though. Since Palace we have been far away from our best of recent times, in fact look at games like West Ham, Swansea as well. To me it's something that Poch is doing or not doing that is creating this downturn in performances. Take Kane's goals away, and we are in trouble.

It’s both. We’re playing like garbage. That doesn’t change the fact that Anthony Taylor is a biased moron.

Honestly don't give a shit about the ref that first half performancewas a disgrace, it's not the ref that's making us go into games half a sleep.

Alli and Eriksen need to be dropped for the sake of the team, they have been piss poor the last few games. Eric Dier is not a defender, I’ve said it since he signed for us as his positional sense is poor and he dawdles on the ball; if another team is willing to spend £40-£50m on Dier it should be taken without a second thought.

Genuinely missing leaders (i.e. Wanyama and Toby), nobody else seemed to have the balls or desire to rip into the team on the pitch and get them going.

This will be a testing time for Poch and he needs to show that he’s willing to drop the untouchables (Alli, Eriksen, Kane) if their performances don’t improve.

Good to see Lamela back on the pitch, other than that not a huge amount of positives to take tbh

We should have won this comfortably. Sadly 2 once a season goals by them and us so so wasteful.

Llorente do so little considering his big presence. What a waster he is. Even a Calvert-levin or chris wood would be better

Llorente linked up play wonderfully when he came in. Quick balls into him which he layed off with one touch opened up space for us to move their players around late on.

Yes he hasn't got that killer goal scoring touch but he is quality with linking up play.

We've handicapped ourselves in successive windows by not looking to sign any good creative or attacking options. We seem to go for targets out of our reach that we cannot sign and instead plump for bargain basement older journeymen or ligue 1 youth prospects. Watford have proven that you can sign decent players for a good fee with Richarlison; need to improve our scouting full stop it's been a disgrace.

We are simply not capable of playing two matches a week with the intensity we need to win matches. Many seem to lack energy almost right from kick off. We need to rotate more but we haven't got the players.. Poch learning the hard way (again) with juggling cl with the prem but now the opposite is happening – we suffer in the prem.

He rotated he full backs tonight and also dropped son to the bench. We haven't got that many players to rotate 11 per game
