Hopefully we start December in a better frame of form. There are some players out there right now that are either 'cooked' and need a break, or need to get their fucking heads down and recapture some of the form. A few of them have gotten caught up with some of the smoke blown up their back sides after the Madrid result.

Bright spot is Lamela and hopefully the comeback continues in the same vein and the spark he shows tonight is with us for the foreseeable future.

Gonna need a positive December and New Year period to stay in touch with that top four now.

We really didn’t. Our finishing has been woeful and it’s only in the last 30 mins we’ve put in 100%. Great to see Lamela back but that is the only highlight. Dele, Eriksen are shadows of last season. Aurier and Rose no decent crosses for the first 60 mins. Dembele zero energy. Sissoko.... well he was just Sissoko.

Looked 10 times better after Lamela came on, he is head and shoulders above any other player for seeing quick passes and Dele and Eriksen really do need some competition and/or rest.

Just STOP with Llorente, go and get any of our youth strikers and give them a game. Its nothing to do with his miss tonight, that happens to every player, we just never ever ever look better when he comes on, ever. Every time he comes on when we are losing i think "game gone" or if we are leading "he won't score".
