Here is what I think, knowing several people don't care about my two cents on this. It's not the finances that will decide whether or not Bale returns. The finances are possible. It will come down to a decision based purely on sports related issues and concerns, not finances, IMO. Personally, I've always thought we'd see Bale back

At this point, if i had a choice, I would probably choose Pulisic over Bale purely due to age and injury issues. Saying that, if we ended up with Bale next season I would be over the moon injuries or not. Just having him around the team would bring a huge boost and one no other young player could bring the team which it is maybe currently lacking a little.

I don’t see Modric happening at all even tho I would embrace him also.

That bolded bit. No way in hell I pay him more than Kane or Toby or some of the players that have put in the effort over the years. But if he is willing to come back and take a lesser role, especially with his inability to stay healthy, his experience alone would be worth it IMO.

Also maybe we could get him off his bulking agents as it seems he was fine health wise until he went to Real and got all shredded.

We won’t sign anyone non English unless we sell at least two non English players as we currently already have Lamela outside our champions league squad. Don’t understand how anyone fails to realise this.

We can name 17 non-homegrown in our squad for the league. We have 16 currently named by my reckoning with 1 of them, Janssen out on loan.

I'd take Modric back in a heart beat.

Still the best CM in world football in my opinion and he has been for a number of years.

Bale I'm not sure about.

ETA - and Sanchez counts against the non-homegrown list because he has not been at Spurs for 2 years - so he can't be listed as an U21.
