Never a pen. Calvert Lewin jumped into Lovren and bounced off him, all Lovren did was hold his ground.

Fucking hilarious though.

Definite pen, he clearly gives him a little shove, clear as day. Utterly stupid of Lovren, any forward in that position is going to go down.

The results so far are as perfect as was feasably imaginable.
I agree that the title is gone, so a Man City win please.

Jurgen Klopp, speaking (arguing) with Sky Sports: "Our performance was good. We didn't score often enough. I saw only one team playing. I can't believe the situation with all the challenges. We were clean and didn't make any fouls. There is always one nasty one - Sigurdsson made that. A clear red card. You see the picture of the penalty. Calvert-Lewin is smart but it is nothing. But it is a penalty and one team can celebrate and we can't.

"I don't understand why the ref is doing that [give the penalty]. I didn't use one swear word. Only one team is trying over 95 minutes to win it. The other team are not in our box and didn't have a shot on target bar the penalty."

After a minute of arguing with Sky's interviewer over whether it was a penalty, which included the interviewer saying he thought it was and Klopp laughing...

"Lovren doesn't make a challenge. Calvert-Lewin makes a step. The hand is on the back. If you think it is a penalty say so. Does my opinion change anything?

"I only want to speak to people with a little bit of understanding about football. I am sorry, I am wrong and you are right. Obviously I am not in the mood to answer questions."

On taking Mohamed Salah off: "That is my job. I make decisions that I think are right. It is your job to say afterwards if it is right. We lived more or less in their box. We could have scored earlier. I have to live with that."
The pressures of the Premier League and we aren't at the New Year turn yet ... Crap on a cracker.

Not bad results today with both Liverpool and arsenal drawing plus our result yesterday it has brought us right back amongst it, not that we were out of it by any means but certainly looks better than what it could have been.
If we can get our injured players back and with no CL until February we might be able to pick up a head of steam, as for the Manchester derby I'm not bothered as we are too far off to make any difference there.

Did you see Klopp yelling at the referee after the game? I don't like Mourinho, but if he did the same, he would get a ban.
Are you sure he wasn't just conversing in German? I really can't tell the difference. Such an angry sounding language.

It was soft but Lovren gave the ref a decision to make, stupid by Lovren really as CL wasn't even heading towards the goal.
Right in front of the Everton fans as well, I can see why he gave it.
This. They all do it, even us. The attacker is running away from goal with nowhere to go and they shove him over.
Same at the other end as well. Defender has ball, is facing the end of the pitch, nowhere to go and the attacking player shoves him over.
Does my head in. They're obviously not very bright.
Was funny though I agree.
