The Weekend's going along just fine for us.
Now for City to smash Jose's side, to get us closer to all our 2nd/3rd/4th CL place challengers. (City are going to win the title anyway).

Pen for me, it's a very clear shove, any forward would be stupid not to go down there to give the ref a decision to make.

If he hadn't given it, I think a lot of people would be saying he bottled it.
Absolutely this. The commentator in Norway was almost screaming like a Pool fanboy that it was soft, Calvert-Lewin went down easy etc. etc. (the commentator is a very vocal Norwich fan, so no partisanship really). The fact is that Lovren pushed C-L in the back, and C-L was going fast enough to be knocked over by it. He'd be stupid to try to stay on his feet and it's the correct decision.

I want a United win today, to make it interesting. I don't care whether we finish 2nd Vs 3rd. I still think we need another few results in our favour over the festive period to have a good chance of top 4.

Nah, United loss would keep them within reach.
The titles gone, let it go.

Pep interviews can never answer to the questions asked. :shifty: must be so frustrating for the interviewer.

I don't want Citeh to keep winning. Dislike Pep and still hate Walker leaving for them... Some red cards, some injuries and suspensions and a draw is good for me.

Did you see Klopp yelling at the referee after the game? I don't like Mourinho, but if he did the same, he would get a ban.

Klopp not happy

Jurgen Klopp to Sky Sports: 'Can we please stop this? I am not in the mood. I only want to talk to people with some understanding of football.'

Never a pen. Calvert Lewin jumped into Lovren and bounced off him, all Lovren did was hold his ground.

Fucking hilarious though.
It was soft but Lovren gave the ref a decision to make, stupid by Lovren really as CL wasn't even heading towards the goal.
Right in front of the Everton fans as well, I can see why he gave it.

Jurgen Klopp, speaking (arguing) with Sky Sports: "Our performance was good. We didn't score often enough. I saw only one team playing. I can't believe the situation with all the challenges. We were clean and didn't make any fouls. There is always one nasty one - Sigurdsson made that. A clear red card. You see the picture of the penalty. Calvert-Lewin is smart but it is nothing. But it is a penalty and one team can celebrate and we can't.

"I don't understand why the ref is doing that [give the penalty]. I didn't use one swear word. Only one team is trying over 95 minutes to win it. The other team are not in our box and didn't have a shot on target bar the penalty."

After a minute of arguing with Sky's interviewer over whether it was a penalty, which included the interviewer saying he thought it was and Klopp laughing...

"Lovren doesn't make a challenge. Calvert-Lewin makes a step. The hand is on the back. If you think it is a penalty say so. Does my opinion change anything?

"I only want to speak to people with a little bit of understanding about football. I am sorry, I am wrong and you are right. Obviously I am not in the mood to answer questions."

On taking Mohamed Salah off: "That is my job. I make decisions that I think are right. It is your job to say afterwards if it is right. We lived more or less in their box. We could have scored earlier. I have to live with that."

I really don’t see what he did wrong, he tracked the runner and didn’t put a challenge in. He was touch tight, but that’s to be expected in the top flight.
Calvert Lewin bought the penalty afaic.

Before anyone gets too antsy about this, I’m chuffed to bits about it. Everton deserves sweet fa from that game, which makes the scouse angst even funnier.
