Hmmmmm. Thats not the game I watched. We had numerous chances, mostly 2nd half, but they did absolutely fk all all game. They played a lot of hoof ball and occasionally went wide with a hit and hope cross. Not sure they even had more than 2 corners. Not looked yet but I'll bet the stats reflect that.
What do you expect him to say mate?
'Well erm...it was so one sided in the second half I wish I'd brought on a pot of lube as a substitute instead of Lacazette, it would've been of more use and made this defeat less painful'

As far as post match comments go I don't think I've seen him more accepting.

Well this result and performance has surely put a dent on Arsenal's superb record at Wembley.
So much for this being their second home. :ROFLMAO:

what a team we could have. Lamela is getting back to form and throws a whole new look off the bench. If Lucas can do the same we could be incredible.
We are incredible at the moment, all we need is to start putting those god damn chances away

A few days ago, a lot of our fans were downtrodden when news emerged, that Cech might have to miss this game due to injury. Go and hang your heads down now. :D

He kept them in it but all the shots were directly at him minus eriksen's free kick. Most PL goalies would have saved them.

I feel like I've had about 6 espressos...

Nerves still jangling.

I might have to go out and punch someone to get rid of this nervous energy:cautious: don't worry I'll pick someone small and un-threatning (can you think of anyone:sneaky:)

If it's any consolation I've been at the game and had 5 pints and want to go to sleep

If you're gonna slag off Dier and Dembele, it's probably best not to do it before the game is over. Stops you looking foolish. Both magnificent today, particularly Dier who was superb defensively.

You should know BC by now - the narrative is that Dier is shit regardless of what actually happens in the game. He's the scapegoat and he's sticking to it.

In actual fact, underhit backpass at Liverpool aside, Dier has been excellent in our last three league games. It's no surprise when these are the sorts of games he's made for. Him and Dembele were superb and would have had an assist if Harry had buried his pin point cross.

Spurs could "easily" (well, in football we know there are no "easy" goals really) have had 4-5 more goals - but Arsenal could "easily" had 2-3 goals...

Dominated Man Utd and Arsenal at home. Played Liverpool off the park for a whole half away at Anfield. We're playing some really good stuff and are actually genuinely a really good side at the moment. Purring. Bring it on Juve.

Maybe Dier is the scapegoat when Sissoko isn't playing?

I thought he was mostly poor in the first half - if Sissoko has put in that performance there would have been 30 pages about how shit he was.

But he was very good second half.
