Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "In the first half we missed three or four opportunities on the counter attack which is difficult to swallow, always the final ball. We contained them to very little.

"Once they scored you could see we were wobbling and they could have scored more but in the last 10 minutes we should have come back to 1-1.

"The first goal was key and we conceded it. Kane made the difference, that's what he's about. I have seen the replay, it is no foul, just good centre-forward play. We can only look at ourselves.

"It will be more difficult to finish in the top four but we have to fight for it. "
Hmmmmm. Thats not the game I watched. We had numerous chances, mostly 2nd half, but they did absolutely fk all all game. They played a lot of hoof ball and occasionally went wide with a hit and hope cross. Not sure they even had more than 2 corners. Not looked yet but I'll bet the stats reflect that.

Great result but we could do better in terms of finishing and game management in the last ten minutes of a match. Poch needs to take some responsibility for handing Arsenal the initiative at the end by taking Alli off and not replacing him with an attacking player. If Son had been still on the pitch I could have understood it a bit more.

Rather, not keeping him on and replacing dier with vic.

We're involved in another record for a PL game turnout (albeit with the help of Wembley's greater capacity).
Attendance - 83222.

I feel like I've had about 6 espressos...

Nerves still jangling.

I might have to go out and punch someone to get rid of this nervous energy:cautious: don't worry I'll pick someone small and un-threatning (can you think of anyone:sneaky:)

That win was beautiful, too many Arsenal fans were getting gassed about Aubamayeng who was anonymous and Mkhitaryan who was shit after they put 5 past a dodgy Everton defence, they didn't get a sniff today and rightly so, wasn't worried because We've co rained better forwards them them.

Just wished we stamped our superiority by scoring more of our chances, 3/4-0 would have been so sweet but nevermind.
In Armenia, the Mikhitaryans were historically a flaky clan.

We've waited so so long to be better than them. We have certainly been better than them the last couple of seasons but it always feels like one defeat sets them off again and that the power shift is just talk. I think that win today showed us that we are much better than them now. We are mentally stronger, have more desire, more togetherness, better defensively, have a better core and are much more together in terms of club direction and ambition. It's absolutely thrilling to see and they can throw as much money at it as they would like to but they'd still be streets behind. I yearned for days like this when I was a kid!

what a team we could have. Lamela is getting back to form and throws a whole new look off the bench. If Lucas can do the same we could be incredible.

In these last 3 league games against Utd, Pool and Arsenal we have absolutely bulldozed them in the 2nd halves, very good sign esp our fitness levels. Just need to be more clinical. My heart couldn't take that today near the end, massive win fucking made my weekend. COYS!!!

Well, there was a small crowd outside the pub near Preston Road tube station and they looked set for a fight. I'm not sure who they were, though. They were dressed in Spurs colours, but they may have been Gooners in disguise.

OMG. To even do that just underlined their meaning of 'support'. Plastic.
