Don't make me post the other 141 babetips.
Couldn't agree more. Their fans are a deluded bunch but mainly because they grew up supporting a club that won everything multiple times and broke numerous records. Chavski are the scummiest bunch of racists that celebrate the holocaust and Hillsborough. Their success is built off the back of extorted Russian Money brought in at a time they were going bust. Chelsea should be no better than Everton with out the financial doping coming into play.
They wont be short of interest from a number of big players. They are now an established top 10 global brand club that will always attract investors. If the Ruskie goes, there's always the possibility of some murky Chinese gambling syndicate taking over.

*oblivionThe thought that Chelsea will just disappear into obviation if Roman packs up is just entirely wishful thinking, self sustainable team in glamorous West London with a new stadium on the way, playing in the most lucrative league in the world - that'll interest quite a few investors who'd want tolaunderinvest their money in the club.
True. The best thing we can hope for is a Milan style situation where the new owner massively over-borrows from loan sharks and he/the club gets in trouble for it.The thought that Chelsea will just disappear into obviation if Roman packs up is just entirely wishful thinking, self sustainable team in glamorous West London with a new stadium on the way, playing in the most lucrative league in the world - that'll interest quite a few investors who'd want tolaunderinvest their money in the club.

Chinese consortium bought Milan for 570M pounds ($788 million).Doesn't Chelsea owe Abramovich £500M in interest free loans? If Abramovich fails, Chelsea fail too. Unlikely, but still possible.

Abu Dhabi money in Manchester City (incl. Council deal) factoring in the annual losses, now in excess of 1Bn reportedly.
Unaccountable funds from the Middle East are available for now a global brand like Chelsea, make no mistake.
If the Emirates and Qatar can lay out such obscene amounts for PR purposes only, you get the idea how much they have for actual investment. Only a full-scale war can put a halt to this rotten practice.

Yeah but the Chinese who bought Milan don't actually have any money and borrowed a load of it from a vulture fund. I've said it elsewhere and I'll say it again, Milan will collapse financially within 10 years, probably even sooner, unless some sort of miracle happens.
It's somewhat ironic that after decades of being owned by the dodgiest of all dodgy Italians, it's actually the people who followed him who will end up bringing the club down from the inside
Think they are already failing ffp.

And the money they borrowed from that vulture fund is due back at a very short deadline as well, I think it may even be at the end of the season or something. Plus it's obviously at huge interest. There's no sign of them having managed to scrape together the money to pay it back in the meantime and all investigations into where they ever got funding from in the first place have so far led to dead ends. On top of that, any money they had left after the purchase they've splashed out over the summer, largely without success. The whole thing is just a ticking time bomb.

No they won the winter olympics
It's still AC Milan though, one of the worlds biggest clubs.
There will always be someone else ready to take over, with or without the debt. The same thing almost happened to Liverpool under Hicks and Gillett, yet there was a lot of interest in the club, and they ended up with FSG.
The worlds biggest clubs will always survive, as there will always be interested buyers. The new owners might not be sugardaddies, but it's unfeasible to think that one of the worlds biggest clubs will cease to exist, alone due to financial reasons.
