Lol guys wtf you on about? I said that it will be 2 of spurs, united and chelsea. In other words yes city and pool will be in top 4 and other 2 place will be between us 3.

What is probably confusing is that you put liverpool as certs even though we are on better form.

We're on better form than liverpool against tougher oppsition. There isn't much to chose between our run in's although pool slightly edge it.
They're in front at the moment but i think we can catch them.
(I know it wasn't you saying liverpool will come second ardiles).

I understand and agree but i just think that they will be in the top 4 because chelsea cant/ wont catch them.

Yes and why? Because im not comparing us to pool. I am looking at pools gap to chelsea and thinking 'no way chelsea bridge that' and therefore thats all that matters right? And that guarentees pool correct?
And i am doing the same for us and chelsea....thar gap is MUCH more bridgable right? Even despite form i can never disscount those pricks! Especiallt when we have to go to the bridge!

Fair enough. Looked at it from that perspective it makes sense. I don't think anyone was arguing just lost in translation a bit.

I just hope that we have a reasonable points margin between us and Chelsea before we go to Stamford Bridge. Last thing we need is for that to turn into a winner takes 4th match.

Agreed.

Honestly this game this afternoon is hugely significant for us. About as important as any game that doesn't involve us directly if that makes sense...

Like you say we want a gap between us and Chelsea so they can't leapfrog us when we play them and we also want City to tie the league up by the time we play them as well.

City must win and if they do it's a fantastic result for us.

100%, is a potentially massive game here to be honest and if City win, that's a 5 point margin and at that point you can almost say Chelsea can't really afford another weekend where they lose and we win. Hopefully United will still be dragged in too which can help the cause.

You just know that even if Chelsea are playing absolute shit, if 4th is at stake they will work their asses off against us at Stamford Bridge that's for sure.

What I hate about them is, like Man U, they get something out of games when they dont deserve it and they do it so often its annoying. That CL win case and point, was fkin unbelievable.

Man C are being very lethargic / over confident now. Only takes a bit of Hazard magic or luck and it’s 1-1. Wish they’d try a bit harder to get a second goal and put Chelsea out of their misery!

Chelsea set up like a relegation fodder team. They don't deserve CL.
Was laughable on about 75mins city were knocking 5yard passes around defence with no Chelsea players even making an effort at pressing or coming out of their half :banghead:

It’s like they’re playing to keep it down to single goal defeat

That was a truly dire football match. When you consider the quality (and the cost) of the players on the pitch, it was pure crap. For 65 minutes, that was entirely down to Chelsea's absence of ambition and competence, but in the last 25+ minutes, City were sloppy and unfocused and could have conceded an equaliser, had Chelsea been able to do the basics properly.

Never mind. Good result for Spurs.

First half one shot off target second half two more both off target. They are the current champions, and couldn't even muster one shot on target in 95 minutes of football.
