Good chance (I hope) that Roman goes in the dressing room, hopefully destroying the last of their morale.

We would be seething if that was us, Conte was protecting goal difference WTF.

So city needs 4 wins for the title. Either they beat us for the title or we give them the walk of honour

Not sure what I would want

Don't mind given them a walk of honour regardless of the money they have spent they fully deserve it and are a great team to whatch

Sky just said 4 more wins. That’s at our place. Shame it wasn’t against Utd right before us.
Four more wins in any games will do it for them. 3 in a row now would be enough because it means they've beaten United who therefore drop three points.

EDIT: Actually that does just mean they finish above United. Liverpool would still technically be in it if they pick up maximum points, including a win at Old Trafford.

ManU v Liverpool next week is of some interest...

If United get anything from that game then it becomes probable that City could be crowned champions after they play United on April 7th.

I don’t think it matters If City come to us as Champions or not, they will still go for it but we will do them anyway.

The race for top 4 is over however much the media try and dress it up as some kind of exciting finish to the season. Arsenal are finished and Chelsea are 5 points behind us and we still have to play them. They need us to lose 2 games in the last 9 whilst they win both. Their form in 2018 is poor, the manager is not happy and the players aren't interested. They may step it up against us but we can even afford to lose that.

Chelsea have won just 2 games 2018:

Drew against Arsenal
Drew against Leicester
Beat Brighton
Lost against Bournemouth
Lost against Watford
Beat West Brom
Lost against Utd
Lost against City

That's not a team getting into the top 4.

I think we'll finish 3rd above Utd.

Chelsea still have us and Liverpool to play. The red dots tell you all you need to know.

Well actually the fact that they play us makes it more rather than less likely that it could happen. I'm not saying it will, but it means they have their best chance to cut the deficit because of that match being there.

I agree that we’ll get top four and am looking up rather than down.

Just wouldn’t go so far as to say the top 4 race is over.
Spot on! Things can change; couple of key injuries for any team; couple of results that go against form, and things change. Optimistic, but not complacent. Today, Alonso nearly rescued 2 points for Chelsea at the death against City in a game that should have been put away long before.

No I suppose you can't say it's over when there's only 5 points between 4th and 5th. But it would take a monumental swing in form. Chelsea have also drawn home and away against Norwich in the cup and needed penalties to get past them in January. Arsenal have lost at home to Osterunds and been knocked out by Forest. These 2 are in free fall and I think they're putting their eggs in the European competitions.
