What we lack is winners, but that's hardly surprising considering we haven't won anything in ages and the importance of winning things is dismissed by fans and the management.

Don't worry though, I've read on here that you learn more from losing than winning. So I'm sure we'll turn into winners any day now.

Chellini just spoke very well I thought.....said it came down to experience at this level and he’s probably right.

Barzagli is old enough to legally be Sanchez’ father! Would have loved to have Toby for tonight, for all the young exciting players we have, another older, leading influence would have helped.

Fuck this being proud shite. We should have won tonight. Pissing away a lead like that in 3 minutes was appalling.

We should and could have been out of sight before half time and even early second half.

Can blame the referee for his shitbag performance all we want. He was atrocious. No idea how he only came to have 3 minutes added time when there was 5 subs at 2.5 minutes plus 23 minutes of Juve pissing around with every goal kick, throw in, free kick.

But our finishing was atrocious. So disappointed. Not proud.

More gutted than anything, naivety showed in this tie but Juve are a dirty side, the commentators and pundits lap it up as ‘know how’ and ‘experience’ Dele goes over easy and leaves a foot in and hes lucifer and vilified...wankers

Proud of my team but struggling to get over the line when it counts bossed it for 160 mins the same way we had ‘most points over two seasons’ but leave empty handed, i am sure it will come and believe we will have better days.

So just to clarify, the reason we lost to one of the best teams in a Europe is because we don't have a player like Younes Kaboul or Michael Dawson?

Or is this just a post match beer fuelled nonsense thread?

First loss in 17 games and Poch is taking flak.

Absolutely fucking incredible.

:banghead:

I'm certainly not calling him flak, i want him to stay as long as we can keep him, but this game was lost by a tactical substitution we didn't deal with. Simple as that.

Is Cheillini some kind of nonce?

"They concede a lot of chances" Mate you literally had two fucking shots on target

Looks like fucking squidward aswell, utter nonce

EDIT: now he's crying and I feel bad but he's still a prick
Thought he was MOTM tonight

Poch has got to learn to react and make substitutions quicker, leaving Llorente until the 85th minute and not bringing on Moura was baffling.

He’s allowed to be criticised if he didn’t react to a change in formation that led to them scoring their goals ffs.

How did the formation lead to their goals? It didn't, we just gave away a couple of opportunities and they took them. Juve gave us three times as many opportunities but we missed them. Meh.

Poch is a young manager and have both the time and the brains to develop he's coaching skills. Right now the only thing holding him back from being on the absolute highest level is he's ingame management. We have seen it plenty of time this season in terms of substitutes and responding to tactical changes - everything happens to slow (or not at all). I love him and woulden't have changed him for any manager in the world but he has to improve that aspect of his coaching.

Is that all you live for? To tell people they are wrong or to shit on people when they have just watched the club they love get knocked out of the champions league? Why do you even bother fucking posting? It’s like you’re an emotionless robot that just wants to criticise people because they show passion for their club.

Are you taking joy in it? You don’t seem at all bothered by the result, more focused on trying to take sly pops at a fellow spurs supporter than actually giving a shit about the result?

I don’t want to hear some happy clapper bollocks right now, we had the tie in our hands and WE blew it.

Tactically naive, mentally feel apart after they scored their first goal as well.

The questions are always going to be asked about us until we actually show up in games like this, away against Juve we showed a maturity that felt like we had turned a massive corner, same thing in the first half tonight.

But the SECOND that goal went in for Juve I could see it written across our players, THOSE are the moments when we see just how far we have come and every single time
over the last two years one of those moments have presented themselves we have done this, failed to finish the job, it’s continuous false dawns for us, at some point we have to learn.

Also, some of us are capable of changing our minds rather than thinking in a linear fashion, you can criticise me all you want and I might even look back at this post tomorrow and cringe and feel stupid but at least I know I had the fucking guts to
speak my mind and not be some sheep that constantly takes pleasure in making other spurs supporters feel like shit about emotional reactions for their team.

I love Spurs and it hurts when shit like this has happened watching them my entire life.

It happens time and time again, I am sick of saying “Oh well, maybe next year” or “So proud of the lads” when I know we are good enough to win games like this, we were the better team tonight but due to our tactical naivety and inability to find that winning edge that we desperately need, we have failed, again.

I am logging off for the night, you can take pleasure in moaning at other spurs supporters for once.

Yawn...

I'm not reading any of that, it's pointless, you've contradicted yourself and you got exposed, take a day off fella :)

1st loss in 17 games ... We were doing plenty of winning during that period too... What an odd comment.

Spot on. It won't be a popular opinion because people like to sugarcoat things. But that's the kind of mentality we're missing.

Mind you, we don't need ten Roy Keanes. But we don't have one.

Not a single team in the PL currently has a Roy Keane.

The likes of Vertonghen, Dier and Kane have as strong captain abilities as anyone currently in the league.

Next there'll be a thread saying we lack "bulldog spirit."

legends don’t draw at Madrid.
legends don’t beat Madrid
legends don’t beat Dortmund home and away
legends don’t come back from 2 down at Juventus.
Theres a lot to be proud of this champions league run. Probably the hardest run out of all the teams.

Think of the gilt edged chances they got over 2 legs in a tiny amount of time. He’s not so wrong is he? They didn’t pepper us with shots but we gave up at least 5 massive chances of which they took 4.

Had a Liverpool mate saying "haha unlucky", I said I'll say the same to him when they go out! He said at least they'd made it further and I said they'd still have won fuck all, no prizes for making it further!

He then went on to say "yeah but it's more money which is more important" :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
