Are you sure it's not because you introduce yourself as the Sausageman?
What the fuck is going on in this thread?
Moped riding ponce said:I have no idea how it will go. Spurs is a different beast than many other English clubs . It is most probably has the largest support of " genuine hardcore" fans than anyone else in the South of England. Not insipid , lifeless ,middle class Woolwich . Not glory hunter Chelsea/Chavs built on the success of dirty Russian money who couldn't been seen before they were bankrolled. Man Citys grotesque Arab billions destroying any form of competition from a tin pot tyrannical hell hole of human rights. Little watered down global fan base.
Spurs have no self entitled effete support as we win $#@! all . A legacy of family pride , cavalier attitude and all together.
80,000 may rattle you or not but this is no Arse/Chav/City $#@! .
Not really, two goals would still see them through. Definitely possible for them. The simplest way to look at it for them is that if we score first, they’re fucked
A lot of English based Italians will support an Italian team as well.sounds like a spurs fan?

Yep. He’s just being honest but that particular explanation he gave seemed a little odd (even though it’s entirely plausible) which is why Shearer responded to it with that message. Not having a pop at Jenas or anything, I actually liked him as a player. It was very honest of him.
He used Newcastle as his example but he got most of his caps with us (I think), so I reckon he was trying to be respectful to Spurs because he sees us as ‘his team’. So what he probably really meant was that coming back to Spurs and playing with the likes of *insert crap Spurs player here* and not fighting for the CL places hindered him. That, on top of his attitude as a player (according to himself) unfortunately resulted in him not achieving what he wanted to.
Anyway, apologies - this should prob be in the pundit thread or ‘its JJ’s fault’ thread.
Back on topic, I just got this text from my gooner mate:
‘Have you lot got your own alternative of St Tottering’s day? If not, you’ll need to think of a name by the end of the month’.
It’s only March. It’s a beautiful thing.

I think the worry for them would be more the psychological impact it would have though. If we go a goal up the players will grow in confidence and the Wembley crowd will get behind them. When we get early goals we have a tendency to blow teams away.
I vote for 'the whatever... Day'.
Not strictly true, but we've all got to practice insouciance

Clutching and straws come to mind.
