I think those who thought this would be a cakewalk were ignoring Bouremouth's current form and recent results. They want these big wins more than the little ones. We still seem shellshocked from Wednesday. Any gritty barely win is more than by me. I'd even cautiously take a draw just because we seem to need a break.

Pretty average first half.
1-1 salvaged by dele’s knee.
Kane’s looked a bad injury live from our angle. Walked away but he knew it wasn’t good straight away.
Can’t be worse second half :-/
I thought it was an entertaining game of football. The last 20-30 minutes we’re pretty much on top. Expect us to go on an win now. Bournemouth were never going to keep up the energy levels they showed in the first 15.

Alli off for Lucas in the second half. I know that he scored but he’s been poor so far

Take off our most prolific scorer bar Kane for the last three years when Kane's already off?

Somehow I find it unlikely that Poch will agree with you, mate.

Someone needs to start following up on shots/crosses at Begovic, he is dropping a lot today.

You'll get no complaints from me you're welcome to say whatever you want mate...but then don't turn around and complain at people bringing up posts of that nature...I think thats fair.

Thing is though mate, one set of posts are commenting on the game, which is relevant, the other set are commenting solely on other people for no purpose other than to say "I told you so"

I just don't see the point in people saying things like "Well, where are the Dele haters now?!?!" and comments like that, it's not like the people who commented before could see into the future, they were reacting based on what they had seen so far, which was a poor performance.

I mean if people want to waste their time and energy picking apart other people for self-gratification then it's their choice I suppose, I just don't understand why they bother personally.

I do agree, I shouldn't really bother commenting on people doing it as it makes me a just as bad but it's incredibly frustrating seeing good posters get piled on for making comments on a football game from people who believe they know better.

Pls Poch do some magic in HT.
I think we can grind this out but need to be patient. Their defence isn't any good, it's their midfield pressing that caused us troubles in 1st half.

Poor first 20 but too bad after that, certainly not as bad as some people on here are making out. Dembele having a very poor game by his standards, really need him to up it in the second half. Hope Moura gets a good run out today.

Huh? Took over last ten minutes. Poor first 20, yes but has been very good since the change with Kane going off.
Really? nearly ever move breaks down at his feet.such a frustrating player. I know not everything can come off but keep it simpler at times

Hardly a pleasant viewing so far. Minutes 1-20 were just shambolic, as we lost out all over the pitch. 20-35 were better, as we gained some foothold, the last 10 minutes we've got the goal and Bournemouth have lost that early bluster. We've got the ball down and the change has actually made us look more fluid with more movement up top.

We still look absolutely prime for getting countered on numerous occasions though throughout the half, whenever we turn over the ball cheaply (and really poorly at times tbh) and our centre backs are stood 10-15 yards in their half.....

Individually not a huge amount to praise, though things looked a bit brighter towards the end of the half. I felt Vertonghen and Dembele though have looked really poor in that half.

As for Kane..... might do him some good a few weeks out in all honesty. He didn't look sharp at all in the time he was on, and for the last few weeks he's shown signs of a rest being beneficial.

Club will cover up Kane's injury. Poch will say everything is fine then before you know it a month has gone by and he's having surgery.

Fuck's sake -do people calling for unforced changes really think its going to happen? Really think it should? Bizarre. We took back control and got the goal last 20 minutes. We've already had one forced change.

With both FBs providing poor crosses, there's no reason to play Llorente (not that I'd want him on anyway).
