But you must agree he has not made the best start to his spurs career. Foul throws, poor positioning, rash tackles leading to red card and pens, poor crossing. One lucky goal and a couple of good crosses does not make him Kyle Walker. I'm still hoping he will come good though but as said before I think full back is a position that benefits from a consistent selection and a run in the team which he hasn't had.
Of course he has produced some mind-boggling flaws. But it baffles me that people don't see his strengths, too. Aurier, for a debut season in the PL, has actually fared quite good, and I for one will hands down give him resounding support based on what he has shown so far. He is in the making to become great.

Take off our most prolific scorer bar Kane for the last three years when Kane's already off?

Somehow I find it unlikely that Poch will agree with you, mate.
I think son might have something to say about that.

how anyone can think either are a better option than Davies and Trip is beyond me
On current form davies and trips are better, but I think serge and rose have a higher ceiling. Both have pace for a start. They both need to sort their form out though and practice their crossing.

Eh? Comentary I'm listening to said he wanted to carry on. Sounds more likely to be precautionary to me

No he tried to jog but then just turned down the tunnel immediately

It's exactly the same ankle turning under itself injury he's had the last 3 times

6 weeks basically unless it's a miracle

Hopefully they'll tire.

Lots saying Alli should go off but he gets into striker's positions for crosses and long balls

With both FBs providing poor crosses, there's no reason to play Llorente (not that I'd want him on anyway).
The way this game could go, they will get more and more compact. Trippier's quality delivery could be telling.

I love the way Redcrap and Sherweasel are both insisting Kane's injury is a bad one without even knowing what the doctors have to say.

I just saw the replay and you can see the ankle bend back. He may have walked off, but it doesn’t look good :(.

Really? nearly ever move breaks down at his feet.such a frustrating player. I know not everything can come off but keep it simpler at times

Last 20 minutes he scored; lead three counter attacks and helped stabilise the situation and take control of the game.

HE got better. You should have the decency to acknowledge it.

The first 20 mins were poor but since then we have pretty much controlled this game. One concern is how high up the pitch our back line is, we have been caught out a couple of times. Confident we can get a result here though.

So basically you are saying Rose and Serge are faster than Davies and Trips?

We finished well on top, looking like a 1-3, maybe 2-3 Spurs win.

Lucas for Dembele 60-65 minutes.

Thing is though mate, one set of posts are commenting on the game, which is relevant, the other set are commenting solely on other people for no purpose other than to say "I told you so"

I just don't see the point in people saying things like "Well, where are the Dele haters now?!?!" and comments like that, it's not like the people who commented before could see into the future, they were reacting based on what they had seen so far, which was a poor performance.

I mean if people want to waste their time and energy picking apart other people for self-gratification then it's their choice I suppose, I just don't understand why they bother personally.

I do agree, I shouldn't really bother commenting on people doing it as it makes me a just as bad but it's incredibly frustrating seeing good posters get piled on for making comments on a football game from people who believe they know better.

*sigh*

Im not gonna get into a convo about it, we've been through this a million times before, all I'm saying is if people don't make shitty premature remarks then there's nothing to rebuttal.

It really is as simple as that lol
