Another one here:

@IGSpur will be watching him in Riga Cup vids in a couple of years!

Theses wonderboys all have one thing in common. They never make it as a top pro. Remember sonny pike, Islam feruz celtic to chelsea, Fabian brandy at Man U. Our own John bostock. Plus countless others. Leave them alone and let them play and enjoy themselves.

Does Edwards look a little bit bigger or just my imagination. Before against senior guys he always looked freakishly small. But doesn’t look so obvious in that Norwich clip. All this time Levy probably had him in some secret growth hormone program ?

goals at 5:00, 25:15 and 32:15, all in the 2nd half.

kurylowicz
pochettino tainio muir craig
bowden
clarke cooper maghoma bennett
robson
clarke and robson switched after about 10 mins. cesay(rb), binks(cb), white(dm), whittaker(lw), markanday(rw) and parrott(st) came on in the 2nd half. i like the look of harvey white, quite similar to skipp but left-footed. marqes muir impressive at cb also after a bit of ragged outing at rb in the first game. markanday and parrott combined nicely for the 2nd and 3rd goals.

Lovely touch by parrott in build up to 3rd goal. Made an excellent start so far to his spurs career.

goals at 24:10(1st half) and 2:25 and 20:30 in the 2nd half.

oluwayemi
clarke tainio binks bennett
white
markanday maghoma bowden pochettino
parrott
deserved win and juve were never really in the game. their goals only came from tainio heading a harmless cross past his own keeper and then with literally the last kick of the game from a free-kick after oluwayemi had been sent off for a last man foul. thought markanday was probably our best player overall but got to give it to parrott for bagging a hat-trick, the first two being typical poacher's goals and then a superb curling effort from about 25 yards for his 3rd.

seems we lost the semi to atalanta on pens after a 2-2 draw. parrott got both. lost the shootout 5-3 - bowden missed, maghoma, markanday and parrott scored.

Just watched this game. We played well, I think Bowden, Maghoma and Markanday can count themselves unlucky they won't be going to the Euros., but Maghoma lost his place due to poor performances and Bowden has never forced himself back in. That 01 midfield doesn't look that great to me other than a couple of players and I feel Bowden has looked the part. He is like a better version of Charlie Owens who I liked. If he was maybe a bit more mobile or stronger defensively he would be a quality player. His passing is really good, he was spraying some long ball like at 8:40 which was a good bit of play between him, Bennett and Maghoma and he is calm on the ball. Reminds me of a Bentaleb actually.

Markanday is probably the unluckiest though. He has had an excellent season, but the wing/attack is the one area that the 01 group have decent depth in, compared to the defence. It says a lot that Markanday has been probably our best player this year and hasn't got a sniff of getting in the England team, he created both goals above, and Binks who has played 1 u18 game is going and will be likely starting games for them.

Also what you said about White, Ray Lo from twitter said the same. He has made an interesting transition, he used to be more of a no.10 kind of like Eriksen, and Bowden sitting deep, then I hadn't seem him play for along time, and suddenly he is sitting deep and getting about Ray Lo said after the Cambridge game he reminded him of Skipp too. White is also a good passer, so I think a 3 man midfield of Maghoma, Bowden and White would be decent, they have all featured fro England at different points too

Parrott 8 goals in 4 games in 4 days ? made quite the start. Wonder how highly the club rate him. Highly enough to hold out on a kane back up ? He may be ready by 19/20 to play a part.

Was going to try and guess the intake around February, but fyi Setchell has gone to QPR and Whittaker is an u15 I also believe Muir is too.

There are 16 here, which surely can't be done again. The first list I've seen and impo should be in our academy next year based on ability that's 11, there isn't someone there I'd be happy to release on what I've seen. Limited of course.

Kacper Kurylowicz(GK)
Kane Patterson(RB/CB)
Luis Binks(CB)
Malachi Walcott(CB)
Dennis Cirkin(LB)
Harvey White(CM)
Noni Madueke(CM)
Rafferty Pedder(AM)
J'neil Lloyd-Bennett(W)
Troy Parrott(FW)
Enoch Asante(ST)

The others I have seen very little to none but each have a reason why they could expect to be there.

Chay Cooper - recently signed attacker, would be strange to release him especially considering the limited number of AMs, though there are a few in current 1at years.

Reo Glean - another winger you may have seen more just not sure how good he is. Apparently decent, but feel an area we could improve.

Blake Darcy(CM) - only player out of these lot who has been at our club for a long time, also one day few who have played for England in this age group. Only here as 1) never seen him play 2) haven't even heard anything about him for over a year. If he's still around assume he's guaranteed to be in there.

Josh Gray - FB don't know much

Alex Monroe - Recently signed FB, assume won't release

If we're to have a normal sized age group could see both FBs being released, with Patterson and Cirkin there plus the fact most players can be moved to FB if you need cover. That would give us 14 including one keeper. For selfish reasons to keep a manageable group I'd release one of Glean or Cooper, and really try and go for Knight or Carvalho.

@Spurzinho how good are Glean and Cooper if you think they're shoo ins. Heard good about Cooper

So going back to this, we have a better idea of what is going on now

Kacper Kurylowicz(GK)
Luis Binks(CB)
Malachi Walcott(CB)
Dennis Cirkin(LB)
Harvey White(CM)
Chay Cooper (AM)
J'neil Lloyd-Bennett(W)
Troy Parrott(FW)
Enoch Asante(ST)

Kane Patterson(RB/CB) - Leaving
Noni Madueke(CM) - Maybe leaving
Rafferty Pedder(AM) - Not been in any tournaments but was rated and has suffered injuries. Still has tottenham in his social media
Blake Darcy (CM) - still not been seen or heard of at all. Assume he will be leaving.

Interestingly if all 4 of those leave that will include 3 players that have featured for England at u15 level, and one for Scotland. Whereas what appears to be our actual intake has only 3 regular England players. So may be losing a lot of talent or players who have struggled in the last year or so.

he's made a great start but it's way too early to start projecting in terms of the first team.

if i've read it right i think we still have the 3rd place playoff to play later today, which is looking like being against juve again.

The good thing with regard to Parrott is that he should get his international chance very young with Ireland. May even make his international debut before spurs Infact he likely will. Much like a few of the Liverpool boys with wales.

Terry Dixon was in the Irish squad at 16. Parrot will prob be in by 18 as they don’t have much up front

If there were 5 players from each age group, U15 and U16 and U17 (first year scholars), that you could describe as real standouts, who would they be? And also, could you give me an insight on Elliot Thorpe’s playing style, Phoenix Patterson’s playing style and Armando Shashoua’s playing style and the impact all 3 of them have had this season, thanks.
