Sorry I find it hard arguing with stupid.
I'm not the one with the problem with it/not a problem with it. You should proof read what you type before posting.

Good luck!

Edit: This isn't arguing, this is expressing an opinion.

I'm not sure what to think after this.

Kane now comes across as being totally self-obsessed. He's putting it out there that his goal-scoring record means everything, above what the team is trying to achieve.
I think we played some of our best football when he was injured, as we played alternative channels and varied our attacking approach.

Now Harry is back, he's going to DEMAND the ball directly to him, so that HE can beat Salah and win HIS coveted prize.

I'd much prefer to see Harry just get on with things and except that some goals you get deflections your way..and others you don't. He now looks a bit like a spoilt kid who didn't get his way.
But more to the point, you now know what his number one agenda is...his record. And that will impact on the way we play the game.

I've always thought of Harry as someone without ego and agenda.
But something has definitely changed. And not for the better.

If there are goal scoring opportunities for other players in the next few vital games...and he doesn't set them up, but goes for goal himself...and misses, then I'm going to be well peeved!!

We shall see.
Is it his agenda?
Or the Spurs team agenda?
Let's see how many goal scoring opportunities Harry sets up for other Spurs players over the coming 4 games.

How the fuck does him claiming the goal and appealing, with support of the club, that it be awarded to him after the match is over in any way mean he is after personal glory ahead of what’s best for the club? That’s as logical as the following sentence:

Harry Kane likes dogs, therefore he doesn’t like jazz music.

Him wanting that goal awarded to him and his commitment to the team cause are mutually exclusive to each other. He is chasing records aplenty and if he genuinely believes a goal is his, which he clearly does, then he he has every right to try to claim it if it’s not initially awarded. It doesn’t affect the team, it doesn’t affect the result. We still have the same points total and are in the same league position that we were in before the goal was awarded to him. And if anybody is in any doubt about Harry’s commitment to the team cause, they should look at how hard he works to come back from injury, how much he risks his body not just to score goals, but to chase down loose balls and to make tackles, and how he could have doubled his salary at several other clubs every summer for the past three years and is still with us with a couple of contracts since signed.

These are exactly the type of jokes that have made this such an issue on here, people don't like it when we're on the end of it, they are on the receiving end of their mates banter and lose cock inch-age.

As for Lineker, the size of his earholes I'd be surprised if he was ever more than 10 yards away from anything that happened anywhere on the planet.

Corrected for you.

I love Kane to bits, but this is embarrassing, he may have touched it or may have not, but to go to this length to claim it is rubbish, is he that desperate for a goal, if he is, sad bastard...

Sad bastard? No, just some who felt he achieved something and wanted it to be recognised. You have a job I assume? If you do something positive, credit worthy, important to your company’s overall aims, but the monthly newsletter credits the achievement to your colleague as a result of a misinterpretation by the marketing team, will you keep quiet and simmer with quiet resentment while your colleague gets roundly praised and blown off by the hot uni student on work experience, or will you go to your boss and show him proof that it was you who did the good thing?

So if we don’t all have the same opinion we need to grow up? Why do you have a problem with someone expressing a different view than you do...... FFS.
I have a problem with the overreaction from some people on here, yes. Harry told a camera that he felt he got a touch, which cameras have shown was true, who cares about the language used? It’s all just a massively overreaction as far as I’m concerned, I thought our fans would see through the media bullshit better tbh.

You're welcome, I look forward to you expressing more opinions on a subject that will be irrelevant this time next month - unless Kane wins the Golden boot I suppose ...

I’ve honestly never seen someone rally so hard for an opinion on here as you have :cautious:.

I’ve stayed the same since this started, would have been nice for Harry to simply say “I felt a touch but happy for Christian to claim the goal”, fair enough he didn’t. He should have said nothing else to the media and simply dealt with it all within the club and wait for the verdict. I don’t see much of an overreaction, the media will have a pop of course and we just suck it up, let’s not get all “how dare the bastards” about it.

I’m not sure, if Ronaldo had done the same thing I can only imagine the reaction.
I'm still pissing myself laughing at all the Ronaldo statues to get up to speed with the idea of him claiming a goal he touched in from a free-kick.

The idea of the BBC's millionaire chuckle brothers, cosying up to Kane and co in the summer, genuinely does sicken me.

FFS Shearer! The absolute arrogance of the man! To think being England captain raises him above kicking footballers in the head! To think he could walk into Newcastle with no managerial credentials and manage them! Stick to being bald and playing golf, Alan. At least you're good at one of them.

Gary Lineker has turned into a bit of a prick hasn't he?

Snidey remarks towards us becoming a recurring theme.

And he needs to have a word with himself, that CL add, where he's conducting the orchestra to the theme tune.

A forum is a place for opinions.

My view is that something with Harry has shifted...and he's becoming more driven by his own ego and agenda as opposed to being the complete team player that he was, say, a year ago.
I not saying a massive shift. But, for me, definitely a shift.

That's what I've spotted.

And the litmus test is whether he makes the effort over the coming games to set up other players around him..or whether he simply goes for everything so that he can make up a 4 goal deficit on Salah.

That's my concern. And yes, I might be completely wrong.
But I also work in psychology and my job is to spot changes in energy, ego and behaviour.

Anyway, it's just an opinion. And opinions create discussions and discussions create forums.

All the people saying it’s embarrassing Kane is going to these lengths etc. what the fuck are you even talking about? He’s not staging a flash mob outside Wembley with justice for the 25th goal t-shirts on. He hasn’t chained himself to the front of the premier leagues offices or gone on hunger strike until the goal gets awarded to him. Have a word with yourselves, this is a bullshit media frenzy based on two sentences from Harry after the match. Some people really need to grow up.

Bingo.

Ronaldo did it already this season and people hailed it as his elite mentality
And that's exactly what it is. A player who is determined to succeed and get everything he can. We've waited for a very long time to have a player like that so I will defend Harry to tilt over this.

I'll refer to the tweet I saw in that Liverpool see this as pathetic yet don't see the number of despicable things that they have down over the years.

Has VAR taken that long to determine who the scorer was? I think we should just scrap the system. ?
