I think Dembele off just killed our chance.. He was almost unplayable until he committed a stupid yellow..

Golden boot is Salahs. Kane needs to rest
Kane needs to relax himself first and foremost.

He's going to be nowhere near if he's just on edge at all times snapping at everything. Just ignore that bollocks and focus on helping the team win and the goals will come as a by product.

Weird performance.

Hugo. Not sure anymore.

It’s days like this that you can’t afford to have Kane and Alli miles off the pace.

Dembele and Dier in treacle.

This makes three league matches in a row now we have been completely outclassed by City. We aren't shit, but they consistently make us look like we are. It's mystifying why we never seem to have a real idea of what we are doing against them.

We completely lacked an identity in this match. If we had simply lost while playing with the positional discipline that we showed against Madrid or Dortmund, or with an enthusiastic press, you could hold your hands up and say we were just outdone by a better team. But we looked completely, utterly clueless and had our naive high line with no pressure on the ball "system" absolutely torn to shreds.

What a frustrating game! Liverpool showed everyone how to play and win against City and we didn't seem to learn from it!

Verts (and Moura) aside poor performances from our boys, although cant fault Eriksens running.

One thought does Dier offer anything at all to our team at the mo?

Just want full time as if we have any hope of catching Liverpool we need to protect our GD.....!

As for all those laughing at Pool etc, they have beaten this City side 3 times this year, how many times have we beat them? equally in the CL SF, where are we? we have to just make sure we sow up 4th ASAP and ensure this result doesn't screw our season, last time we lost was to these oil tycoons and it done us good so fingers crossed
We need 3rd as there is still a chance the dippers win the CL and the goons the Europa.

I can’t stand it how Lamela is the first person to receive flak in here when the team is struggling. Taking him off, just as we were starting to gain a bit of intensity, was fucking suicide from Poch. Pissed off.

What was he doing that was so great that he shouldn't have been taken off?

I was gonna bitch and moan about several players but I'll instead just say vertonghen was amazing out there today. Not a performance worthy of conceding 3

Trippier has been absolutely atrocious in both games against City, constantly giving the ball away and out of position.

Any fullback in the league and as many in Europe can be tarred with that brush. That City side are over a season unbeatable, so bloody obvious and trying to shame one player is naive on the extreme.
