Can hardly get a shot off without slipping on the field. Sissoko hasn't been that bad but I'd bring on Lamela at half. We don't need two holding midfielders in this game and could use some of Lamela's energy right now. Looking a bit lethargic overall.

That was a really laboured, disjointed, lazy half. I'd be throughly pissed off if I were Poch.

Not a thriller! We are playing so slowly allowing Brighton to get back into shape before we get near the penalty box. Got to wonder how fit Kane is. Continuously losing the ball and looks so slow compared to the usual Kane

Dare I say it but we looked better in the couple of games Kane was out

I have seen a couple mentions of this. I think we all know how many games Kane has won us this year and in the past.

But when he is off there is a definite lack of pace in our play. But I think people need to be careful with this idea that a 20+ goal scorer is somehow not a good thing.

Sissoko has looked pretty good generally speaking. But the issue is that he is just not a fluid enough player to fit in with our other first teamers. Our team always looks less confident on the ball.

Kane is painfully unfit. In terms of Saturday he's Kane so he'll start but I'm not sure we're a better team with a barely 50% fit Kane than without.

I'd get Dier on for Wanyama at HT. Vic has been far too lethargic on the ball

To the people disagreeing. This game shows exactly how good Dier and Dembele are at those little short passes to open up space. We haven't done anything like that so far today. Don't let your hate for Dier and love for Wanyama cloud your judgement on what has been a dreadful performance

Kane is clearly not fit and off form. Golden boot is not happening.

We need to hope BHA cannot keep this up and tire. Bit like the game at Wembley at the moment.

Kane nowhere near fit. Surely he can't start on Saturday this far off the pace?

Very lethargic tempo again, only showing signs of life in the last 5 minutes.

Poch needs to stress some urgency for the second half.

Think Wanyama has been well off the pace.

Back 7 have been fine. Front 4 not quite firing though, till right at the end there. Kane still looks leggy, as he always does after a break. Eriksen a wee bit off, Moura working hard but not quite sparking, Son close but not quite. Just need those 4 to string a couple of chances together and we'll be ok.

Don’t get me wrong a fully fit and in form Kane is unstoppable but it seems he’s come back too quick and it’s affecting his play.

A first half totally lacking any oomph.

Where to start..... The cm2 have been crap, providing no protection without the ball and with it just getting in the way. Fullbacks offering nothing. Son very indecisive. Moura is mostly just getting the ball to feet in ultra safe areas. Eriksen is trying to probe away but getting easily crowded out often. Kane looks sluggish as hell and I'm not convinced the 'lets just play him even more to get him back into form' is what is right for him.

A massive help also would be if we got some proper studs in our boots, going on the amount of slips we have seen in that half.

Performance needs shocking into life, somehow.

Better pass completion and some directness and we win in 2nd. Brighton offers nothing, we just need to nick a goal.

Maybe Lamela would help. Definitely not Llorente. Trippier also could be good.
