Hope I’m wrong, but I have so little confidence in us beating united. I didn’t really before the game, but now I’m convinced we’re going out. Season could end on a real sour note if we don’t sort things out and fast.

You never drop kane....ever. That being said, we have rushed him back.

Don't need to stop and think about toby as he is quality and didnt put a foot wrong tonight. Ont he other hand we now see why moura hasn't started games.
Why's that? He was our spark tonight.

Aurier shouldn't be near the first team again this season. He's been such a liability, might be good one day but not now...

I really don’t have much confidence for the semi after the last 3 performances, Mourinho knows how to win those games.

We are too slow and pass sideways in front on teams. Very very poor.

They just lost at home to the bottom of the league. Please try to think before posting.

Sit deep against us and we have no answer when u have 3 non-technical players like Aurier, Sissoko and Wanyama

I live down in Sussex and with Brighton having Chris as manager I ant them to stay up but we really needed the three points since second place was within reach

Still need 3 wins for 4th. If we're going to play like that, I doubt we'll pick up many points against Newcastle and Leicester.

To be fair, Brighton are a well organised team at home and they played for a draw so we had a wall of players in front of us throughout and weren't quite sharp enough to create the clear chances. I don't think it was lack of effort or team changes. The big disappointment was the avoidable challenge by Aurier and that is a constant worry in every game he plays unfortunately.

Normally I don't like to diss this team, as we are a fucking decent outfit, but fuck me, I am severely deflated after that fucking disgrace of a performance. Like, I'm not even angry, or sad, just totally fucking ambivalent, and kinda wondering why I waste so much of my time worrying about football results. Like, if I don't watch, there's nothing to be disappointed by... World keeps on turning etc...
But fucking hell, we have been a treat to watch over the last three seasons, and I kinda feel like our purple patch is coming to an end.
And I can't imagine it ever being as good again.
Like, last seasons team was the Spurs benchmark for me. I think our signings have been largely ineffective, we still lose our best players, and I can't help but feel that the seams are just starting to look a little frayed...

I guess we'll see what sort of performance we get on Saturday. Anything less than 100%, and I'll basically switch off for the rest of the season and see what hilarity ensues in the summer....

Some fans on here don’t remember when we had a truly shite season
Please don't give me that 'we were shit in the 90s' nonsense. Yes we were bad then, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't adapt to new standards the club has tried to set. If we want to be and maintain being a big club, we've got to think like one. A worrying amount of our fanbase still think like we're plucky outsiders, when really all things considered we're one of the best teams in the country as of late.
