No CL will affect how much they make though mate

Sacking him now will cost them £8m which iis the final year of his contract so it's in their interest to keep him on, regardless sacking or keeping him on tll next season won't make a difference to them, there's no guarantee that they will qualify for the the CL next season anyway.

I think this season's increase in decline is also in part due to the Arsenal being in the Europa rather than the Champion's League, long may it continue.

Not sure how you work that out. They played a 2 nd string in all the group games. So had a big advantage 1st half of season which makes it look even worse.

We won't be in it next season....heads have gone.

Lost our speed hunger and desire

Was signs we were tired vs city.

But that tonight was awful.

Kane is crocked...son is knackered.

Got a midfield who would struggle to pass passed traffic cones.

Tottenham 3rd in the form table, Chelsea 12th. Clearly they're going to catch us over the next four games. We may as well just give up now!

equivalent of 2 wins ahead of chelsea. 2 points behind Liverpool with worse goal difference and 3 behind MU with close enough goal difference for us to pull ahead if things fall our way. Maybe we should keep confidence as were still in it

The way people were talking the other day like this race is over.

We’ve been on great form but there are signs things are slipping. Last 3 games we’ve been way off our normal standard and that is not a good sign going into an FA Cup Semi Final.

God forbid we lose on Saturday and our heads go whilst we try to keep a slender buffer.

Really need Chelsea to drop points on Thursday and to get a win on Saturday to bring us back to life a bit.

If we win Saturday then players will have one eye on the cup final.

Dropping points today wasn’t ideal at all.

Lots still to play for. Let’s hope Alonso’s ban is upheld as that will hit Chelsea.

Annoyingly I think that now means we won’t go past Liverpool.

I'd hope not considering the final isn't for another month and we have 4 games before then.

Besides players will know that they need to perform to have a shot at playing in it.

I just want it over with by the time we play Leicester on the final day. If Chelsea are still in it at that point, Leicester will try and turn that match into a World Cup final.

Was really surprised at how people thought the job was already done even with the gap. All it takes is a result like this (which is always possible away from home) and a few other teams to sit back and frustrate the fuck out of us and points can be dropped. Only good thing is that Chelsea still look fucking shit but still have the potential to win games of course.

We need to refocus that's for sure. If Chelsea win on Thursday the gap becomes 5 and would anyone be surprised if we play Watford and go in at HT at 0-0? The worry would maybe start to set in for some.

Hopefully a good result on Saturday can propel us into some confidence.

That was awful tonight. Yeah Brighton were game and if Aurier hadn't done an Aurier it's probably a comfortable win but that was painful to watch. So little quality from our quality players.

Zero momentum going into the cup semi now, at least they'll be motivated I suppose.

Can't take this top four for granted now. Chelsea will have eyes on it.

We are 4th in the "Form Table"

We scrapped passed relegation fodder stoke 2-1.

We got hammered by Man City.

We looked purely devoid of ideas vs a Brighton team that are nothing really that special to be honest Brighton actually looked more of a threat how many saves did the Brighton keeper make?

We have a fa cup semi coming up that we will piss away (its what spurs do). (we will lose this game 1-0 to a typical Mourinho bus park our heads will drop)

We then have Watford (who have nothing to play for but as usual with the ex spurs connection will raise their game against us) - they are also not safe from relegation yet and in awful form with some pretty dangerous players. (this will be a draw)

We then have West Brom - who are picking up form with the new caretaker manager although they are almost down they still have to fight and the hawthorns is an awkward place to go. They also have Livermore,Chadli,Rodriguez,Rondon and plenty of wanky players like Mclean,Brunt etc who always seem to go up 30430 levels when they play us. (We will scrape this one 2-1)

We then have Newcastle under Rafa Benitez who are in fine form 3rd in the "premier league form table" who again will set up structured organised and stop us from playing this will be a draw.

Then next its a very very poor Leicester team at the moment but god....vardy and co would love to shut us up again if it comes down to this game we have no chance. They will play like crazed beavers while our lot roll over like possums as its not going their way.

Chelsea meanwhile

Just came back from 2-0 down vs Southampton and showed incredible guts and desire and found a way to win backs against the wall.

They have Southampton in the semi they will walk that.

They then go to play a Swansea who are fighting for their lives but will park the bus and sit back to defend against them Chelsea win beat them.

They then have a Liverpool team who will be probably looking at a champions league final who will also be resting players that should be a draw or a win.

Its then huddersfield at home thats another win sadly.

Its then Newcastle away at the end of the season depending on what Newcastle turn up....its in anyones hands.

If Chelsea completely turn things around, and get 13 points from their final five games (including two very difficult ones), we need another five points. Five points from Watford home, West Brom away, Newcastle home and Leicester home. Any less than five from that run would be the form of a relegation-doomed team.

For this to go wrong, we need to go from a Top 4 team to a relegation team, at the same time as Chelsea going from a mid-table team recently to a title-winning team.

We're just completely overreacting because we've messed things up in the past. But this is even safer circumstances than those were, and with a much better team to boot.
