Chelsea could be two points behind us when we next kick off in the league. That'll spice up Watford and Wembley on a Monday night...

We are 4th in the "Form Table"

We scrapped passed relegation fodder stoke 2-1.

We got hammered by Man City.

We looked purely devoid of ideas vs a Brighton team that are nothing really that special to be honest Brighton actually looked more of a threat how many saves did the Brighton keeper make?

We have a fa cup semi coming up that we will piss away (its what spurs do). (we will lose this game 1-0 to a typical Mourinho bus park our heads will drop)

We then have Watford (who have nothing to play for but as usual with the ex spurs connection will raise their game against us) - they are also not safe from relegation yet and in awful form with some pretty dangerous players. (this will be a draw)

We then have West Brom - who are picking up form with the new caretaker manager although they are almost down they still have to fight and the hawthorns is an awkward place to go. They also have Livermore,Chadli,Rodriguez,Rondon and plenty of wanky players like Mclean,Brunt etc who always seem to go up 30430 levels when they play us. (We will scrape this one 2-1)

We then have Newcastle under Rafa Benitez who are in fine form 3rd in the "premier league form table" who again will set up structured organised and stop us from playing this will be a draw.

Then next its a very very poor Leicester team at the moment but god....vardy and co would love to shut us up again if it comes down to this game we have no chance. They will play like crazed beavers while our lot roll over like possums as its not going their way.

Chelsea meanwhile

Just came back from 2-0 down vs Southampton and showed incredible guts and desire and found a way to win backs against the wall.

They have Southampton in the semi they will walk that.

They then go to play a Swansea who are fighting for their lives but will park the bus and sit back to defend against them Chelsea win beat them.

They then have a Liverpool team who will be probably looking at a champions league final who will also be resting players that should be a draw or a win.

Its then huddersfield at home thats another win sadly.

Its then Newcastle away at the end of the season depending on what Newcastle turn up....its in anyones hands.
If you're that good at predicting the future you'll soon be the richest man alive. It's just an irrational degree of pessimism. People start rating every opponent as being particularly dangerous. Already relegated? Nothing to play for and the pressure's off! In danger of it? Forget about the pressure, they'll be battling! Safely in mid-table? They must be good at clawing out results against teams looking a little off-colour! In the European places? They're better than us! Meanwhile Chelsea are certain to beat a side they went 2-0 down to a few days ago, and teams parking the bus now means they're certain to lose rather than likely to grab something.

If Chelsea completely turn things around, and get 13 points from their final five games (including two very difficult ones), we need another five points. Five points from Watford home, West Brom away, Newcastle home and Leicester home. Any less than five from that run would be the form of a relegation-doomed team.

For this to go wrong, we need to go from a Top 4 team to a relegation team, at the same time as Chelsea going from a mid-table team recently to a title-winning team.

We're just completely overreacting because we've messed things up in the past. But this is even safer circumstances than those were, and with a much better team to boot.

But we are spurs its in our DNA.

My big worry is this game Saturday if we lose it.....we will really see what we are as a club and what posh is as a manager.

We may well lose on Saturday. United are the better team on paper, above us in the league, vastly better resourced, are more used to these situations, and have a more experienced manager. I don't think it says anything in particular about us if we do. But neither does it mean we're suddenly going to start losing to West Brom or failing to win a single league match in five against bottom-half and mid-table teams.

We won't be in it next season....heads have gone.

Lost our speed hunger and desire

Was signs we were tired vs city.

But that tonight was awful.

Kane is crocked...son is knackered.

Got a midfield who would struggle to pass passed traffic cones.

I know this is people's copping mechanism when things go wrong but really?

We might drop out of top 4, it's incredibly unlikely but could happen, who knows?

Just see what happens, there's very little point of making absolute statements like this even if it makes you feel better after a bad result

While your at it.......................how will Game of Thrones end?

The butler did it.

It will end with arya waking up realising it was all a dream.
The classic ending i used in all my stories in primary school - bold but effective.

You forgot Chelsea go to Burnley on Thursday.

Burnley who have won four on the trot while Chelsea have won 5 all year.
Burnley who won at Stamford Bridge.
Burnley who have taken points at Wembley, Old Trafford and Anfield.
Burnley who got a point against City.
Burnley who are on the hunt for a Europa League place.
Burnley who have conceded the third fewest goals (overtaking us).

And if West Brom's victory at Utd means they will be tricky for us, then they will be tricky for Liverpool too. Liverpool play them on Saturday with WBA players confident straight off that big win.

We play them in the penultimate week of the season - they could already be doomed by then.
