Would personally rather LFC win just to get it done and dusted. No difference to me between third and fourth, even second or that matter. Also can't ever bring myself to want a chelsea win

I want a Chelsea win against Liverpool to ease our way to third but I would still want Liverpool to beat them to fourth place, Chelsea and Arsenal in the Europa league is so sweet.

If that's what you want, wouldn't a draw between them the best guarantee?

I think West Brom, Leicester, and Newcastle is a trickier than it looks on paper run in for our team, which I think we can all agree has looked tired lately. Anything that gets us across the finish line at this point easiest is fine by me. Draw or Loss. If we win Saturday that takes a lot of my worry about it off, but after today I could easily see us dropping points vs West Brom again which will fuel Chelsea.

If Liverpool beat Chelsea, max points obtainable by each team is as follows:
Spurs 80
LFC 78
Chel 72

If Chelsea beat dippers
Spurs 80
LFC 75
Chel 75

If they draw
Spurs 80
LFC 76
Chel 73

Edit. Its early. Misread post lol.
Anyway for me the best result between Chelsea Liverpool for us has to be a draw surely.
I'm not too bothered if we finish 3rd or 4th. Obviously 3rd is better but we've been playing away at wembley all season. Taking top 4 would be a massive achievement and cl football into NWHL.
Can anyone confirm 4th misses out on cl if Arsenal and Liverpool win cl and Europa?

I wan Chelsea to win just to watch Liverpool totally shit themselves.

I think Chelsea will beat them.

Unfortunately the only result that ever happens for us at wba is one all. No disaster by any means but they aren’t a good side and we should beat them. But after seeing us last night, if we play like that again it will be a struggle.

Starting to look like it would be better if Liverpool is defeated by Chelsea, not the other way around.
Think it depends. With 3 games left the most Chelski can get is 75 points. So we need 4 as it stands if Chelski drew the most they could get is 72 points. So we would only need a draw in our last 3 games to be safe, but if Liverpool did draw
And won 2 of the last 3 we would finish 3rd.
I guess ask me after we have played West Brom ?

We would still finish 4th even if we only picked up 2 more points and Chelsea managed to get 7 points from their last 3.

We’re home and dry boys!

I think Liverpool and Chelsea will draw at wknd. Chelsea aren't good, they barely managed to get past Saints, Burnley and Swans and even though LFC will rotate, they'll still have a lot of quality. I think it's more likely LFC win than Chelsea. That's also fine by me if that happens.

I think WBA away will be tricky cos they've defo improved. If we play like last night then we'll probably lose, maybe draw. If we can sort ourselves out then I see us getting the win.

Either way I think last night was the key. Beating Watford will give us a mental boost for this top 4 run-in and we're near enough there.

Yes, so let’s just finish 3rd

No that's not true, this has been gone over so many times Im shocked it's still a thing .

Liverpool would have to finish 5th and win the cl as well as arsenal winning the el

In this clown scenario Chelsea would have also had to finish 3rd with us finishing 4th

I just dont want us going into final game of season needed a draw/win
Vardy and especially Mahrez are in poor form lately, but you just know they’ll be up for it against us. Not feeling comfortable about that last game at all.

Ideal scenario sees us win our next two and Chelsea and Liverpool drawing...

It would see Chelsea out of touch and 7 points behind with a max of 6 left if we beat Brom and they draw.

We would aso be a point ahead of Liverpool with two to play, Liverpool would have one game left, so one more win out of our remaining 2 would take care of that little problem also.

2 wins for us, and a Liverpool and Chelsea draw please.
