Gutted. But our destiny for Top 4 is still in our hands. Players have to believe and get the job done.

A change of tactic from Poch would also be nice, may not be popular but if you can’t play through a team you could maybe at least try going over or around it.

He did change the tactics today with exactly this in mind, hence the 3CB/WB's. And towards the end chucked Llorente on.

How do you think we can compete financially with Liverpool, let alone Arsenal, at the moment?

It would help if we made better choices & not have wasted £79m of the Bale money on Lamela and the other failures (Eriksen apart), and latterly Sissoko, Janssen, Llorente and the list goes on...

Captain hindsight here.

Anyone who honestly thinks we are going to get anymore than 2 pts vs Newcastle and Leicester on current form is genuinely deluded. Football is a game played in the mind and time after time we've proven that mentally we can't do it
To be fair both Newcastle and Leicester have worse form than us at the moment and I’d say both are on the beach already.

Not true. They were very disciplined and their defence, especially Hegazi, was rock solid.
No need to take anything away from West Brom just because we're disappointed with our perfomance.

thats the sort of thing you only say when you get shut out by a shitty team. you say they defended well, I say we were easy to defend.

I'd say West Brom's recent performances should be taken at face value.

I'd agree we were easy to defend. But it takes a lot to keep us out as our goals for stats over the last few years prove.

So, I'd respectfully suggest that this isn't "just the sort of thing you'd say". I'd say they defended well, as they have for a month, and should be accorded some respect for their effort.

But, you know, whatever...

I love how all the expert scouts and list managers come out in force after every bad result.

You'd think that after the "Bale money fiasco" we hadn't built a new stadium, entrenched ourselves in the Top 4, gone past Arsenal etc etc...

Fuck me, if phaser had been in charge we'd be quids in!

It can't be just me, but I know the moment Llorente comes on we've lost.
Much more confidence when he starts :D

What I didn’t get, and this was the daftest thing Poch - nearly - did today, was when he was about to swap Llorente for Rose - ie one of the only two players who might put a cross in for him. As it turned out, Vert went down and changed the plan.

Leicester will absolutely show up to fuck us the final day if given the opportunity. They have nothing to play for right now and that explains their current form.

Kane was pretty unlucky with that shot that hit foster on the head. And that move Lamela should have finished 1st time. Another day but hey ho.

What like last year 1-6
What, like when we had second place all locked up, they were in no danger of relegation, and sleep walked through the entire second half that match? There was nothing to play for then.

We still played the same way, still the same trying to play it through. Go wide, go long do something to mix it up.

Try answering the question that was asked rather than the one that lets you get on your hobby horses.
