Love Poch. Fucking love him. But I’m really worried now because I genuinely think he will leave if we don’t get top 4.
And if we do not it is at Poch's door. He is the coach.

We don't have the personal to make any other choice. Kane has to play it seems. If we had greater depth then yes, it's not so easy to drop an out of form player. Is Harry Kane a player that you drop when out of form or do you play him regularly to regain it?
Personally, I'd go for the latter. The team has dipped collectively in recent weeks and I'm not sure it's helpful to pick on individuals.
Everyone on here saying its Poch's fault if we don't make top 4 are totally correct. Theres absolutely no one else to blame if we don't make it. He's the manager, he makes the decisions, he also doesn't make the decisions (in situations) so ultimately its absolutely right its all on his shoulders.
And I'll go further, if we don't make top 4 (which I think we wont), he is also then to blame for players leaving as a result, the players he wants not being bought and the negative affect it will have on the club, such as potential stadium sponsorship not going our way as a result of missing out on CL football.
And i'll go even further...he should rightly be relived of his duties if all that were to happen.

Be horrid if we were all as pragmatic as you.I must be the one Tottenham fan that doesn't really give a shit whether we do or don't make Top 4. I fucking HATE that it's become a measure of success in its own right, when its in fact an utterly meaningless "achievement". I think our current obsession with it is symptomatic of our wider mentality issue, where we're not actually bothered about winning anything, we're just happy to be "in the conversation" with the clubs that do. we've become exactly what we used to mock Arsenal for.
it doesn't matter whether we finish 3rd, 4th, or 5th IMO, there are still things Pochettino will need to address about his own managerial approach if we're to move forward under him. I just hope his head isn't buried as deep in the sand as some of his blindly fanatical supporters on here.
Great well thought out post.....
Why wait ..i would sack him now and bring in someone who would win us the last 2 games...
i despair.
I love spurs and think Poche is a fantastic manager, not perfect but fantastic. I REALLY want champions league football next season. I want to see Spurs play the very best clubs in Europe. Anyone who doesn’t want that I can’t understand the mentality. I do understand if people fear we will miss out on top 4 they state it won’t bother them but to actually really think that truth be told?I must be the one Tottenham fan that doesn't really give a shit whether we do or don't make Top 4.
