2 great goals today. Need to watch 1st again but looks like he really shows some pace and runs away from the defence. Last 3 been excellent goals.

Both were terrific finishes. The second where he stepped inside and just strokes it round the defence and keeper... really lovely.

The three finishes this week show that he's still there even if he's been a bit rusty.

Even so, since returning to the starting lineup against Stoke he has 6 goals in 7 games.

Natural goalscorers know how to score, even when in bad form there is always a chance he'll pop up with a goal, because scoring goals is what he does and he does it bloody well.

He looked better yesterday, looked a bit more sharper - good news for England if anyone cares about that lol

The twats in the sports press have already had their go at knocking him down this year, lo and behold he comes back and scores some great goals and has his highest scoring season yet.

Two goals yesterday that he made look very easy, but certainly weren't.

Hopefully they might have it out of their system for the summer now, and can concentrate on demeaning someone else instead. Such is the life of a star player for England.

Still can't believe the pelters he got from some on here though!

Finished the season with 30 league goals. 41 goals for the season in total

108 league goals in 150 games
140 goals in 213 games in all

Moves to No6 in our all time goalscoring list

He's now 3 goals behind Defoe who played 360 games for us

I think the club should have found some type of award for him yesterday with those amazing numbers again. The mothers sons daughters players player of the Season or something like that...

Good Luck in the World Cup Harry. Come back to us fit & healthy and firing on all cylinders. Take August off as per usual and see you in September!

Sorry I know jan had a great season. We take Kane for granted. Had we signed him this summer he’d have won player of season by a mile. Set the bar so high unless he gets 30+ next season will be seen as a failure.

I genuinely believe Kane will be disappointed he didn't score more, which goes to show the measure of the man. I wouldn't be surprised to see him beat 30 league goals again next year, barring any protracted injury.

Agreed. 25 in a season is now the basement he has set and if he is anywhere near that level, we are calling him out of form. Some years that wins you the golden boot.

There are two other clubs who might be added to Kane's list:

Championship winners Wolves, who last played in the PL in 2011/12, the season Kane made his debut for the first team (6 Europa League games and 1 goal, but no domestic games).

Derby, who last played in the PL in 2007/08 (Kane didn't even join the Spurs Academy until July 2009), and have just taken the last of the play-off places.
Not sure if this has been replied to yet. Kane definitely joined Spurs well before 2009. He simply graduated to the academy aged 16 in July 2009.

Class from Harry in the Guardian:

The 24-year-old is determined to maintain his upward path and has set himself the target of bettering Salah’s total.

“It’s good to have competition and it’s great for the Premier League to have two players at the 30-goal mark,” Kane said. “For me, it was a target to improve on last year, when I got 29, and it was nice to get to that 30-goal mark. Mo has done great this year, he deserves it, he deserves the Golden Boot. I am looking forward to the competition again next season.

“I haven’t seen Mo to talk with him. But this is what you want at the highest level – you want to be fighting for things and I think we pushed each other. He broke the record for a 38-game season and that is what I will try to do next season."
