Some fans are proper herberts, all that Kane has achieved for us in the past few seasons and all the times he has scored goals and bailed us out, he has a dip in form after coming back from injury and all of a sudden he is selfish and needs to be dropped. Shameful & embarrassing some of what I have seen said about him and to top it off he has still scored 4 in his last 6 and 39 for the season...bring back Rasiak I say.

They are not really "fans" though are they - just morons that more of a voice than usual in the internet age. The sort of clowns that used to post drivel on the bbc 606 boards. Unfortunately every club has them.....although they seem to come out in more force after a period of relative success. The worry if we stagnate is someone goes full on Arsenal fan TV - few on here have those tendencies!

So far, Harry has scored at least once against every premier league side he has faced, except for one: Cardiff. Hopefully he can get one against them next season to complete the set

A match winner even half fit. What a player

Mate he’s fit.

All this he’s half fit bollocks is exactly that. He’s probably worth about a quarter of a billion pounds, is one of the best players in the world, yet half our fan base seem to think our medical team are lying and putting Kane’s career in danger by playing him. It’s mental.

You can be fit from injury but not match fit, it's obviously the latter.

True but how many full games has he played since being back?

I don’t buy it. He’s just out of form. Nothing more.

I've never seen him this out of form tbh, even when he loses his super powers in Aug he's still affecting matches, maybe it's a mixture of the two.

This. He's such a great striker he will always score goals, but anyone who can't see there is something off with him at the moment either isn't watching properly or is just in denial.

Kane's physicality is a huge part of what makes him the player he is, but he's just completely off the pace. Normally bullies defenders, but he's winning no battles out there, looks half a yard short, less agile and even his balance seems off.

Whether it's physical, mental or he's just holding back for the world cup I don't know, but he's not the same player at the moment. Hopefully it's the latter, because if England are going to do anything this summer we need him all guns blazing.

Yeah, there’s something up with him. It’s called a dip in form.

So Kane’s not affecting matches? Interesting take on the situation. I seem to remember him scoring against Brighton, Stoke and ummmmmm securing CL for us last night.

Form doesn't dictate whether you can win physical battles with defenders that you unusually dominate though. Nor does it slow your reaction times down.

Yes and its understandable. We have flogged him for the past 3 seasons and his only rest has been when he got injured. Pochettino needs to get a striker in who can take some of the burden of the man. Its fucking laughable that people think he will be great every game. His job is to score goals and he does it.

I was astonished to see so many people saying he should be benched. Lunacy. Literally mental.

Glad SC don’t pick the team.

Yeah, he’s not been affecting matches in the usual way he does because, wait for it.......

He’s out of form.

lol make up your mind, he's either affecting matches or he isn't.

Anyway I'll leave the amateur psycology and body language expertise down to you, seems like you're enjoying your new hobby. ;)

I don't think it's as simple as being out of form. It's just he's not half the player he is at his best when his body isn't feeling perfect. He needs to feel that confidence in his body for sprinting and turning. At the moment he looks similar to how he does in August. Slow and and slightly clumsy. I also think there's an unconscious thing in the back of his head to protect his ankle for fear of missing the World Cup if he breaks down now.
