But you can still get in it to view?

In all fairness, the transfer and ITK forums were very busy places to visit when i first joined, but after Poch was appointed a lot of the transfer news and inside information has dried up, and now from my point of view anyway most of it appears to be speculative rather than informed.

In general though still the best all round Spurs website on the interweb.

Yeah I can still read it at least, but it’s be nice to be able to contribute now and again (especially given some of the total dross posts you see in there).

I did have some ITK regarding contracts (nothing new but about one specific player) from the same source as I got a bit of Barkley info last summer, but there’s very little point in me sharing anything if I can’t even talk about it!

I too was cast out into the wilderness for something trivial - offered a donation as a good will gesture but never even got a reply

Maybe your ban got extended for offering up a bribe. This isn't a West Ham forum, the mods value their integrity over all else and cannot be bought for any price! Shame on you for even daring to question their moral principles! :pompous:

A few snippets from Villatalk regarding Jack Grealish and talking about us, and Onomah. Seems to be some decent, level headed folk on that forum, which makes a change from the deluded chimps on RAWK and the like. Proper club Villa.
Not surprisingly they are not too happy at the way their club has been run recently and seem resigned to losing Grealish, along with some impending doom about dealing with Levy. Many seem to rate Onomah, and I would not be too happy at seeing him go the other way to be honest.

Villa Talk

Jack Grealish

Ah so **** frustrating.

-Despise xia, wyness and bruce for the mess they have made these last 2 years.

-Looks like Spurs want him. Leicester have no chance now, and it would be a great move for him. We may see his full potential at Spurs. Exciting times for jack.

-How much more of a Villa hero could he be if he, allthough against his will, accepts to be sold and by that rescues the club from going under?

-(another interpretation could be that he by going rescues Tony, and helps Tony to keep hold of our club...which I'm not sure if I'd want)

-Hope he goes to Spurs, Poch would be great for him and their style and players would suit him to a T. Obviously only if he has to leave.

-Looks like Spurs want him. Leicester have no chance now, and it would be a great move for him. We may see his full potential at Spurs. Exciting times for jack.

-I hope he gets a regular place in the team and is not just a squad player .

-£15m bid incoming from spurs if you believe what you read.

-If the finances are sorted we reject that - if we need it to pay next months wages we bite there hand off - a telling moment

-If we accept £15 million then I’m done with this club

-£15m sounds about what Levy would test the water with. Remember the bid they made to sign Benteke all those years ago. We told him we would not shift on our asking price then I guess he thinks we won't be able to turn down a low bid this time. I hope he is proven wrong.. If we have to sell let's not sell for peanuts because Levy wouldn't.

-If levy was in our position he would be demanding £75 million he would want £50 Million Mica Richards

-I don't care what mess we me may be in behind closed doors, 1 I don't want to see him leave & 2 if it where to happen then not a penny less of £40m should be accepted + add ons Cash upfront too.. none of this 'the buying club will pay £5m now and xx amount after so many games' e

-He is going for a lot less than we are hoping. 15-18 million in our current mess. Spurs might throw in Onomah to make it look better deal

-Damn I can't believe what a week has done, but I'd take 15 million and Onomah thrown in easily. I'd probably take 10 million and Onomah.

-Onomah would be mad to come here on a permanent transfer, maybe another loan.

-When you have a manager come out and say his club should be breaking the bank for you, you know you're going to get your chances at that club.

-That said, apparently Onomah is highly rated by Pochettino too.

-If he has to go, Spurs would be best for him and I could just about live with it. Many worse clubs sniffing about. Still clinging to the vain hope he wont go.

-Jack won't be on huge wages. It would be better for us to try and get some of the bigger wages off the books to help balance things.

-In the grand scheme of how bad things are, selling our best asset for 10m would be crazy. Wouldn't even paper over the cracks.

-Jack won't be on huge wages. It would be better for us to try and get some of the bigger wages off the books to help balance things.

-In the grand scheme of how bad things are, selling our best asset for 10m would be crazy. Wouldn't even paper over the cracks.

-Exactly, cashing in cheaply does us no favours in the medium to long term. The massive wage bill will still be massive, it looks like the club has realised this and is trying to sell Jedi Whelan and Elmo. Removing those three as well as the others who have already left, or returned to their parent clubs will hopefully be saving us a nice chunk of wages. If only Richards and McCormack would leave as well then things probably would be looking a lot healthier wage bill wise going forward.

-I still think there is the makings of a very good player with Onomah, we didn't see it last season but under the right management and with a bit of motivation on his part he will turn into a solid premier league player.

I know plenty of gooners and Chelsea fans etc who have all accepted we're now a top club and aren't going away.
Even United fans accepted we were better but thought they would eventually spend themselves back above us.

But I don't know a single Liverpool fan who will accept it. It's like arguing with a flat earther, they have no rational justification or evidence for what they believe, they just believe.

I've just got to the stage where I don't bother, I just feed their religious fervour instead knowing when it does go wrong the meltdown is even bigger.

Or like arguing with a globe believer who doesn’t accept any other theory, there’s a lot a evidence to support the flat earth, go have a look.

Now it appears non-Spurs fans believe the 6 year contract for Harry is just to increase how much we get when he leaves us this time next year...

Did you expect anything different?

It's a coping mechanism for people who will never admit that we're a threat and for those who hope that we fail, it's what rival fans do.

from rawk re kane, (who I'm just going to point out is set to make 62.4m in basic wages in the 6 year duration if reports are to be believed he is now on 200k a week, assuming zero bonuses, which we probably have offered on top):

'Be interesting to see if release clause when Madrid come calling next summer.'

Its funny how many of the Liverpool Fans on RAWK make fun of how Harry Kane speaks.
Bearing in mind the amount of phlegm the average scouser produces when they say something.

I realise most opposition fans and media pundits who fall into the category I'm about to comment on are just fkin morons but even so it still never ceases to amaze me the number of these twats who talk about Kane being at spurs in the same way as, well lets say, Sanchez at Arsenal or Coutinho at Liverpool.
Those were foreign players at a foreign club who only went there for the money.
These dicks honestly believe these players came for the love of their club!
This works both ways of course.
Alli came for the money as did Eriksen, Lamela, etc etc and yes, if a huge offer came in for those players I would expect them to want a move unless they are happy with their lot at spurs or we matched the offer on the table. But Kane is different. He genuinely loves the club, has done since he was a child and lifting a trophy with Spurs would mean way more to him than with Madrid, Man u or fkin PSG.
Surely these knobs know this?
Doesnt mean we can take the piss though and his new deal shows we recognise his value.
Bet that pissed some of these so called big clubs lol.
Damn Collymore, Liverpool were so close to getting him for 50m as well lol.

HK 6 year deal:

Arsemania:

6-year-deal. Think he will stay there until the end of his career, no one would pay the possible price for him.

Wonder what colour of crayon he used when signing it.

Harry Kane is another level of stupid.

Red Cafe:

Has apparently agreed a £15m a year deal. Spurs haven't just broken their wage structure, they have torpedoed it.

No surprise that Spurs are starting to throw wages around. Priority should be Eriksen next.

Fair fecking play to Spurs. Acting like an ambitious club right now. Apart from that obvious person, I don't think they are a unlikable club at all

Good for spurs . Think he will retire there !

Kane could very easily go to another club and win loads of trophies, but fair play to him for sticking with Spurs. I respect that.

You respect a player for showing low ambition? Are you serious? This is the very definition of a loser mentality.

Well played Spurs. My first reaction was to feel that Kane is slightly lacking in ambition here, as he can play for basically any club in the world. He'd win trophies elsewhere, while Spurs probably won't win much. But I suppose there's nothing wrong with staying loyal to Spurs either...

any clauses favoring Madrid?

The revenue from their new stadium is already allowing them to become a commercial and financial powerhouse in the Prem.

That is cheap given we are paying Sanchez 600k pw as per papers

Jesus. 6 years. If he ever goes it’ll be for at least £250m

At this point, I don't see him leaving for another 3 years. He doesn't seem the type to kick up a fuss and while he's there I can see Spurs generally making top 4.

Maybe so, but at some point in the near future clubs like City, Madrid, Barca and us will be able to offer £250m+ for him, and absurd wages that he might not be able to turn down. Knowing Levy, this contract is a business decision so he can get a shit load of money for him!

Wonder if he has a release clause or something.

I bet my mortage that this contract does have terms allowing Keane  to leave at some point at a reasonable price (no CL football or something).

A 6yr contract means a lot especially when it's coupled with the amount of money in the PL. He's essentially pricing himself out of a move which is weird given some really big clubs are going to go shopping for a striker soon. Guess his loyalty to Spurs is that strong.

Spurs showing ambition to pay Kane the huge sum of money he desires but I don't know what Harry Kane seems himself acheiving at Spurs in the near future with City, United and even Liverpool improving. Most he can really hope for is a cup win here and there, don't think they have it in them to win the EPL or UCL even with Kane.

Ambition is not everything. If he loves Spurs, and is enjoying his life, there is no reason to uproot his comfortable life just to prove something to people who have no business question his decisions in life. We make such choices regularly in life, while making trade-offs. I personally have rejected a job offer that would have paid me much more just because I didn't want to live in a particular city.
Fair play to him if this is what he wants. In fact I respect the fact that he has the strength to sacrifice an elite career for a happier one.

Fair play indeed, although it does show a huge lack of ambition here. We have to remember he is settled in London with his girlfriend - which are big factors to a player. However, and this is a big one, you only have one career. He has already wasted half of it at a second rate club that has become better, should he risk the rest of it on pure hope? The competition in England is huge, Tottenham will never be the one grabbing the attention. Spurs really, really need a trophy next year. Kane’s parents probably weren’t born the last time Spurs won the league.

How does Levy do it? What must he be telling them?

Best businessman in the league by a distance.

Gotta hand it to Spurs and Levy especially. Convincing Poch to overlook the opportunity of a lifetime in managing Madrid and now tying up the clubs most valuable asset (Harry Kane) to a long-term deal, significantly increasing the players weekly salary in the process. I'd imagine Eriksen will be next to extend and Alli shortly after. Spurs mean business this season (and they will still end up trophyless!)

Not all that uncommon for players to sign big new contracts just to delay moving by a year or two and guarantee their club isn't bent over when it comes time to sell.

Was quite inevitable in truth. Given Kane's rhetoric he was always going to give Spurs every opportunity to fulfill his ambitions and at 24 he has plenty of time to leave on good terms in a few years if they still aren't competing or their debt is causing them to regress. At this stage the fans would be absolutely furious with him, but give it another 2-3 years without a trophy and the majority of rational fans would thank him for his service and wish him well.

Eriksen hasn't signed yet so there is every chance "he will be gone soon" hopefully to United.
