Aurier's I understand, he literally couldn't enter the country without clearance from the courts and I'm pretty sure there was a set date. The others I agree, it's very tiresome.

Nail hit on head, this is exactly why we don’t sign truly top class players, we just make tits of ourselves by trying to hammer down the price when we already know what’s required to get the player and we then decide in our our wisdom to offer less than what is required.

Agree. Shit needs to be moving fairly quickly in the next three weeks. Imagine the amount of effort and expertise required in shifting and buying approximately 6 Knightsbridge mansions in that time

If we haven’t seen significant movements by this time next week - and by that I mean a couple of outgoings either done or very close to, a couple of incomings at least at medical stage and preferably announced - then I think we’ve squandered a great opportunity of a transfer window for no good reason other than our board’s pathological insistence upon pissing about.
