Saw this on the GGTH FB group page posted by someone who had a tour. Nice vid walking up through the SE corner access tunnel into the stadium bowl

I always "doubted". That was my point. That we couldn't tell one way or t'other.

It was always a tall order in my opinion. We should have just bit the bullet and made the call to play at Wembley for another season in June before the fixtures came out.
It’s going to be amazing when it’s finished and in the grand scheme of things Its not a big deal if we have another season at Wembley

Bit of a shame it does look like a toilet seat from overhead view though lol.

Gonna have to listen to annoying fans from other teams taking the piss (no pun intended) outta that.

People been quite dismissive of this. But if it does become known as “the toilet bowl” as the emirates is the library it’s not exactly great PR for naming rights. Especially as there was a lot of talk the sponsor name would go in the roof. You’d have thought they’d have taken a little more care with the aerial view. Seems it could have been quite simple to change the shape with a few more glass panels.

Wembley looks like a vagina but no one calls it that.

Every bowl type stadium looks like a toilet seat.

Ignore it as it doesn’t matter

Who really cares. It'll only be from traditional rival fans that hate us anyway, mainly Arsenal and Chavs. Deep down though, they will never admit it, they will be envious. When people are jealous, they poke fun at, criticize the very thing they're jealous of as it makes them feel good about themselves. They hate that we have a truly glorious stadium that was done right. It feels like WHL, and it's not a generic bowl like the goons' place. It's unique and doesn't even feel like a bowl inside.

As I said previously, the 'toilet lid' joke, has been done to death about every new build their is. It really isn't that funny anymore.

Not that I would think that it would be bad for PR or anything as the only thing I think it does is give opposing fans ammunition for banter. In saying that though, this is IMO more toilet seat shaped than any other stadium I have seen. Not that I care or that I hate the stadium because of it or that I like the stadium any less but that's just my honest observation.

That’s because we’ve got the best stand in the league with the huge single tier.

Makes it go abit narrow and back more than a full bowl

Yeah I'm aware why it is so :) But hey like I said, it doesn't make me like it any less. I would choose a toilet seat look if it meant having the south stand we have every day of the week and with the atmosphere it will hopefully generate, there's not gonna be much care about how it looks.

They so took that pic from an angle to make it look less like a toilet seat lol.

wow, so many grown people worried that a few juvenile minds will get some satisfaction from calling probably the best and iconic stadium in the premier a toilet seat, obviously your mums didn't tell you the old saying when you were little about the sticks and stones

Should we build a brilliant stadium or shall we build a 100% ridicule free stadium? Considering football fans are hellbent on ridiculing everything I think we should just say fuck ‘em and concentrate on beating their team. To obsess on the shape of the roof when this toilet seat joke gets repeated so often is just a big sweaty hairy sagging loads of bollocks.

Wonder why they've chosen to go on a ballot rather than loyalty points for the allocation? Sucks that a tourist with a membership to go once a year might get to go to the first event rather than a member who goes nearly every match.

Bit of a kick in the nuts for the away supporters travelling to Old Trafford on the same day. Making people choose between supporting the first team or potentially being at the very first public event in the new stadium.

2pm KO and 8 pm KO could prob do 1st half and still make Manchester.
