He’s better than Wanyama, not a playmaker but neither is Mousa and he has a massive influence on the game. Kondogbia is a solid box to box player, would be a good addition - the price tag is a result of the current market being inflated but he’s a talent. We’ve been linked to him in different media outlets for nearly a year now.

It's the fact he can play both of those roles that makes me think there might be legs in this. Would have to be for a lot less than his release clause though!

I want a Jorginho type but there is logic to this one too.

I like him, he wouldn't be my first choice, but he's a sight bit better than some of the other options we've been linked to (all got onions of course). Unless Valencia are broke and begging for money I don't see them selling him for less than his release clause which puts him on par with many other midfield target we would be reaching for. Curious since this is coming from France Football if it's his agent trying to put it out there and see if anyone bites.

He was HORRIBLE at inter - really dreadful. Been better in Spain by all accounts but not someone I’m excited about.

We probably did try at £22m but likely offered £15m over 5 years.
