Honestly, if any of you are still expecting us to do decent business - do yourselves a favour and accept that we won’t. ??‍♂️

just unbelievable, a week left in the window, no one signed and no real plan
the definition of instanity.....

... Is not actually what you think it is.. And wasn't said by the person people think it was....

But anyway, enough sidestepping. I get your point

Not sure why people are saying ‘how have we messed this one up’ and stuff to that effect. It doesn’t sound like this was ever that close if we’re honest. The only positive ITK we’ve had since last week’s fee agreed shenanigans was the Pablo stuff which ended up just being the bloody Sun article, amidst shittonnes of ‘it’s not dead’, ‘unlikely’ etc.

He's quicker, stronger, and trickier than Son. He's stronger and more of a threat (at least as proven thus far) than Moura. So yes. I'd say he's different than anything we have.

Doesn't mean he is better than either of them, in a vacuum, but he offers something we don't have enough of. When Son is starting, who on the current roster do you bring off the bench when you need a goal? I'm more comfortable with Zaha coming on for that than Moura.
Thanks for the constructive reply.

blimey, I am keeping my powder dry....let's wait until the window has actually closed and all that....but right at this very moment...feels like something has gone rather wrong

is there a betting market on the last EPL club to make a signing....Burnley or THFC

Would Zaha have counted as Home Grown as he is a UK national? This home grown stuff is really messing us up. I mean for example, who uses up a Non-HG spot for a 3rd goalkeeper!!?

I think the reaction of most here is not specifically in regards to Zaha or any other player that has now been dismissed as a possible transfer so far this window. I think it's because it is quite obvious that Poch is not being backed at all and ITK has said promises were made to him that we see are not being followed through. Poch leaving after this season if this window goes like it appears to be going is a strong possibility which is the biggest fear of many on here.

I thought this quote from Poch last night was more than telling (was in regard to Amos)....""Maybe he's going to play ahead of some senior players. I'm more than brave and if I believe in some players I go with all the consequences."

Surprised at how many people are rating my post with D'oh. If you can't see the potential consequences of not signing a top-notch player this window then I'm sorry you're deluded. Depending on Pochettino's personality maybe we'll get away with it and he'll stay. But if I was him I'd be frustrated as hell. If Madrid come calling again next summer, I don't think we'll see a positive outcome again unless we actually stick by our promises made to him.
