We simply have to try and negotiate a deal involving Martial if the Zaha news is true. Toby is our leverage, Levy needs to bite the bullet, see that he only paid £11.5m for Toby, that he has a ready made replacement in Davinson tied down for 6 years and stop being delusional that it's not going to cost him some on top of Toby to get a shit hot 22 year old prospect.

Toby + £20m-£25m for me. Get him in, do what you need to do to get Grealish and if a deal is there to be had for either Kovacic or Ceballos tie one of those up as well.

We're a Champions League club now Levy, if you don't act like we are you'll hold us back!

1 HG understudy for CM & AM, a proper Dembele replacement and a heavyweight to compete with Son and offer cover for Kane. Done!

CL football, new stadium, one of the most highly regarded managers in world football, state of the art training ground. This is definitely a period where our stock as a club is at a potential all time high and we should capitalise on this by signing players to take us to the next level. I appreciate that it’s not easy, but I fear that we may never be such an attractive proposition to potential signings as we are now and if we fail to strengthen we are at risk of the chasing pack closing the gap or even overtaking us.

Don't forget the most expensive season tickets. The people who fork out that kind of wonga have every right to expect that some of it will be spent on players they want to watch.

I honestly think this is our only last remaining hope of a top signing in this window. I'm not cofident it will happen but if it does it will go to the final day with Toby the other way. One top player in and one top player out isn't great.

United will sell him to another league later on...

If they decide to do that then they can't arrange anything that is mutually beneficial to them, like Toby going the other way. I think they'd rather trade with us than sell him abroad for money they don't really need and no other incoming players (since the window will be closed by then).

Nah we're meant to be content because all the suits get to gawk at the players in our glass tunnel whilst chewing on some Caciocavallo Podolico .

Totally agree - I’m one of them!

No, you have every right to not pay for the season ticket.
Oh come on, season ticket holder or not, with all the money being pumped into the PL right now we do have every right to see investment in the team. I appreciate we can’t go gung-ho, but we definitely need to strengthen and the club should be demonstrating that it wants to progress (for both players and supporters) by improving the first team squad.

I don’t think I said we don’t need to invest in the squad.

I was right, I didn’t say that.

A lot of people will support the team come what may, even though they disagree with the policies from the Board. They will continue to shell out for season tickets even though they feel ripped off. IMO, Levy is playing with fire given the ITK that Poch could walk if he doesn't feel backed. We'll see how that pans out I guess.
