He’s the lowest of the low as an owner and a person. Moved the Rams when promised he wouldn’t. Sacked a coach 5 days after giving him new deal. Turned the NHL team from the best to worst in a decade. Nobody that knows him would be surprised if he turned Arsenal into another Villa. One things for certain they won’t be a major force again with him in control. I’d suggest best they can hope for in coming years is to maintain top 6.

I'm liking this turn of events.
Tbh, I'm not. This is bad news for English football, if one of our biggest clubs can be wrenched away from its fans and used to benefit the finances of its foreign plutocrat owner. All of us need to stand up against this sort of shit- were having all of our heritage, and our futures, ripped away from us by a nasty elite, and I'm not just talking about football.

I'm prepared to let this one slide on this occasion. (y)

Yeah. But it’s Arsenal. Let them have a few years of turmoil. They didn’t show up to help us with any of our problems over the years. And they won’t thank us for any victory. Fuck ‘em.

After patronisingly telling us for years that "You won't spend while you have a stadium to pay for" and "You'll be doing a Leeds", wouldn't it just be magical if they actually ended up the way of Villa and just had a leech owner dragging them further and further down.

The funniest part is for two months I’ve endured Spurs will be riddled with debt for next 10 years from Arsenal fans. Now kroenke is taking out a £550m loan to buy them. They will be in more debt than us with a worse stadium ?

well, well, well
slightly despondent about the transfer inactivity....then go on twitter and find woolwich fans in utter meltdown over kroenke - which was nice*

(said in the style of the fast show character who always finished his stories...."which was nice"...: : )

So, has he actually bought them out? Or is he trying to?

It’s as good as done. Just seen as well he is building Rams most expensive stadium ever built $4bn. With $1.6bn own money and $2.2bn loan rest is from NFL. Pretty clear where his priorities are gonna lay.

I'm with you on this. I would hope that when ENIC decide to sell THFC they will be careful about who they sell to, but this could so easily be us.

Plus our only other real rival is Chelsea and that's because their fans are filthy animals. Our rivalry with L'Arse is a proper, old school, reasonably well-natured turf war. If they went down the pan our fixture schedule would not be the same.

I don’t want them relegated. And neither do their owners. I just want them on a leash so I can give them a kick when I need to.

Sounds kinky :cautious:
