He said we'd spend £150m that would be clawed back through sales. We ain't sold anyone thus no signings have been made. No idea what people were expecting, not sure how many windows we have to spend what we earn before people get it.

You see, I've already had my moaning and groaning period when I came to the realisation this window was going to be a total failure a few weeks ago - I really couldn't care less anymore, and just want the window to finish and season to start. (y)

To be honest I think there are a fair few of us who believe the only constant this window has been discrepancies among ITKs and so therefore don't see the benefit of blowing our gasket one way or the other until the window is shut. Then we'll figure out where we stand on the window. But that's a hard thing to convey when 90% of people on here are screeching uncontrollably.

The positive ITK (Trix) to negative ITK (igi) rollercoaster went down about 6 hrs quicker than normal today. Maybe that means we have another positive ITK coming later?

Before the window I’d have been gutted if it was just Grealish in tbh, especially if we sell first teamers on top of that.

Having said that, the longer this window has gone on and the more I’ve realised we’re our usual disorganised mess in the transfer market, one in is more than I was expecting. My expectations are zero. I’m still expecting nobody in and for Toby to be sold, so if Grealish comes in then it’s a nice bonus.

You presumably missed our team looking knackered for the final month of the season, lacking any serious depth in the Champions League, lack of pre-season for most of our starting XI and every other team in the league strengthening considerably around us.

Aside from that I think you’re all up to speed.

If everyone around you works to improve their squad while you don't make improvements, you will most likely move backwards.

Edit: Complacency, that's the word for it! Don't get complacent!

I think teams, in general, need some refreshing - new blood to come in a challenge the status quo.

I think we also needed to upgrade CM - Dembele has been declining, and is an injury worry - on top of Winks' and Wanyama's existing injuries.

Its possible that Grealish will be the one to come into the midfield. But that feels underwhelming today - end of the year might be a different story.
