Now see, I can understand this happening. It was always a very complex and tight project, this stuff happens.
The problem is that the club completely burned away the goodwill they had from fans with huge price rises, justified with "We'll have Champions League football at the best stadium in the country and a very competitive squad".
Failing to deliver that at such a crucial juncture - charging people for a very premium product and not being able to fulfill it - is a catastrophic failure.
And still they don't get it. That article should have mentioned all ST holders getting substantial rebates for the inconvienience caused, and people who'd already booked travel for the Liverpool game being compensated.
Treating the fanbase like cash cows who'll never turn their backs on the club is the biggest mistake ENIC have made with us by far.
sorry but had to read this coming from you all summer in the season ticket thread, you got your 1st season ticket at Wembley, did you really expect to be paying the same prices in the new stadium?
how was the club meant to know what would happen back in April about problems that might of not been a problem then?
I really don't know what prices they where meant to set? £100 less per ticket = £4.2m £200 = £8.4m
perhaps he should of told the players 1 more season of shit wages (compared to other clubs) because we have to pay staff, loans, wages, and whatever costs and have no definite idea how much we will take yet come next May, just so you and others didn't have something to moan about.
on top of that you bought 1 of the cheapest tickets available by the time it come round to your chance
