The media got carried away with the win at Man United. We didn’t play as well as the win suggested nor did United play as poorly as the loss indicated.

They didn’t punish our mistakes while we did theirs.

The game is about mistakes and Liverpool took full advantage today. They didn’t really need to press us like some teams. They pounced on our mistakes. We were casual in possession which we have a habit of doing and a team like Liverpool will punish us.

We will get away it like against Fulham and Newcastle but in the bigger games v Juventus, Man United (SF), etc we can be ruthlessly punished. And we were today.
But we always seem to be casual in possession similar to Watford previously surely though that's the manager's job to sort that rather than keep letting it happen.

Kane has disappeared off the radar ,the Liverpool blueprint of 3 mobile forwards is looking the part so Son, Lamela & Moura for a while please.,after all something similar worked when can was injured before.

I’d feel more confident about this if Son hadn’t been like Phileas Fogg recently.

The last thirty against Watford was pretty much the first twenty five against Pool today ... It baffles me how much direction they have lacked over the last game and a half.

Concerning.

I said to my Dad last season that deep down I feel that the Leicester year and when we finished runners up to Chelsea was our chance to do something big which may not realistically come round again for quite a while and for whatever reasons we came up short.

A bit depressing, but life as a Spurs fan has taught me we generally can’t have nice things.

Just hope we can find a way to sneak into that top four again for our first season in the new stadium.
That's our club all over never seize on an opportunity just one laughable moment after another, I wouldn't bank on top four mate I think that is very ambitious imo we look nothing like it more like 6th or 7th is where we might end up and levy will be happy with that and pat himself on the back for another job well done.

I just get the feeling you might have a bit of a stiffy right now. Nothing too rigid, that comes later in the evening when one of us poor fucks has been beaten into Stockholm syndrome submission and realise the bad man is just a truthsayer
Too many uses of things I don't understand trying to make a point about nothing in your post.

Only person I get a stiffy for is my other half, men on the internet on a football message board, well you enjoy that thought process old bean, if it works for you, go for it.

The lack of transfers is going to piss off fans when we’re crap this season as no matter how it’s glosses over Levy fucked up on the playing side big time.

It’s happened before when we should have signed players to bring us on a level, and you could clearly see midfield was a major weakness and Levy showed a level of incompetence with players this summer.

And the stadium situation is an embarrassment at the moment too tbh.

I just worry we were onto such a good thing with Poch, bringing Kane through as our talisman but we’re seriously mis-managing it and risk Poch fucking off, plus likes of Eriksen leaving and Kane either leaving or being long-term fucked by injuries.

The optimist in me hopes once stadium sorted maybe we’ll buck up, perhaps Wanyama who we are desperate for to get back to his best will come back in and Winks too although a club like us who has been challenging really shouldn’t be relying on this and should have got one if not two midfielders in.

Heck maybe Skipp may come in and live up to his potential, he can’t be any worse than Dier or Dembele at mo.

We should have sold Dembele in the summer or released him too as his situation is just nonsense both in terms of his physical condition and his contract situation.

And what’s going on at left back? Rose needs to either get back to his best or we need another option there (NOT KWP who should be being given chances at right back).

Levy has done us a lot good but has also shown massive incompetence on playing side at times leaving us short in vital areas.
Levy only interested in the finances so 7th spot is fine with him as he saved on not buying/supporting his manager which was more important.

Be nice if you did actually, if anyone needs a manpon it’s you, you seem to deal with a loss insulting anyone that is pissed off, well get used to it, until we win trophies it’s going to keep happening, we’re a big enough club to expect more than we’ve got.
You mean we lost today?
