Don't see what difference this thread makes as the majority of you will infect pretty much any transfer thread with unrelated links and post about the latest (usually foreign) player you've heard about through Football Manager, FIFA or YouTube highlights that is under 24 and rated as some kind of prospect in a far far worse league, usually with a ridiculously unrealistic price tag for a Spurs' signing.

Completely ignoring the Homegrown players issue is also wildly common amongst these pseudo-'scouts'.

With all the issues at Monaco, i think we could get Tielemans for a resonable fee especially with our Belgian connection.
Young, can play literally everywhere in the midfield, belgian and in our price range. Him and Winks in the midfield would be really exciting.

With the ongoing Wanyama and Dembele saga, I'd be happy to see us go after Mario Lemina. I think he'd be a good foil for Harry Winks.

In order to improve the squad we need to look for players both in England and abroad. The reason why many suggest players from overseas is because often they are cheaper. There is no doubt we need to get home grown and many including myself have suggested players such as Rice, Ake, Chillwell and Bissaka. But that doesn't mean we cant also want players like Ndombele, Mendy, Lozano, Piatek etc. Its about balance and its a wish list, its for idle chit chat about who people would like.

If we want to nick anyone from Monaco it should be their 17 year old wonderkid striker Pellegri. That kid looks like a serious talent and he is massive, perfect build for the PL. In fact we should just nick their youth scouts while we are at it.

2 CMs and both fullbacks

We won't get any of those in January though. It will be the summer and I'm not even sure we will upgrade the fullbacks then either unless Rose goes. Poch seems to have faith in our current options rightly or wrongly.

January is all about cutting the players we don't need so we are ready to go in the summer. I very much doubt we will make a signing in the winter window unless something falls in our lap. History tells us this is how it will be.

I also think we might move Vorm on in the window. He'll be the surprise departure now Gazziniga has surpassed him as second choice.

I didn't have most of this lot down as dreamers, realistic targets might be somehow better to think about, no? Then you won't be so disappointed when we sign Bradley Dack.

I've always liked what I've seen of Tielemans which is not that much admittedly but if the budget is that limited we should seek out a more physical option. Winks is neat and tidy and played much better v PSV than Wolves but still neither creates just like Dembele nor acts as a defensive barrier unlike Dembele.

Southampton are in big trouble though. I doubt they would sell him mid-season.

We're in such a bind, and with the news Dembele's out for potentially six weeks, we really need to bring in a CM in Jan. The options are so much more limited in the winter window, though.

Surprised we aren't looking into bringing Onomah back given the injuries and the fact we can't sign anybody until Jan.
