You just know that if we get humped tonight its gonna be 'has the tottenham manager got his mind elsewhere ' and if we win it will be 'this is why United need a winner like him'
As others have said,he needs to nip this in the bud or it will end up another redflaps to England scenario...

Until we win the league or a major cup on a regular basis we are unfortunately going to remain the also rans in the media.

Some of y'all in here are in dire need of some recallibration of the amount of rage you take from believing everything you hear on the radio when it's negative about Spurs...

Honestly...if he goes I think I would basically be done with football.. Levy will have fucked up again and it's one big Ponzi scheme where the so called big clubs pluck players and managers away then I don't really see the purpose in it.

Obviously I hope it's all bollocks and that he stays here and builds us into a footballing dynasty.

I've long accepted that he's going to leave sooner or later. That's inevitable.

What I'm worried about is the succession planning. We have a terrible record with that. I think we will seriously regret not investing this summer. I think it sent totally the wrong message to fans, players, and Poch.

You don't need to worry while there's always Pleaty around.

Its weird because I swear Toby signed for Man Utd this summer, however I see him starting for us.

Those sources behind the scenes at United need a little work.

Certainly agree it was hardly inspiring to both him and the players to kick on but we aren't close enough to the situation to form a better opinion.

Spurs pick off the best talent from other clubs too, so all of this "i'm done with football if Poch leaves" is a little over-dramatic and reading a bit too much into know-nothings on the telly, radio and in print who are just having the same discussion we're having.

And besides, United have just hired former Molde and Cardiff manager OGS. The idea that it's only the up-and-up for them from here on out is quite wishful thinking. OGS was sacked by Cardiff after finishing 20th in the premier League and making a poor start in the Championship. There's still plenty left in this season, and he's not going to necessarily turn things around there because he's smiley, nice, and scored a really important goal for them once.

Agreed. Without trying to sound melodramatic, you get the sense that we're at a massive inflection point in the club's modern history, where the finest of margins could catapult us into a new era or set us back years and years (yet again). I've become accustomed to our best players leaving - that's part of the game - but I find it hard to see how I'll be able to muster the same enthusiasm if Pochettino were to go at this point in time. It would be utterly soul destroying.

The media behind the scenes writing opinion pieces passed off as factual articles? Follow it up with Dion Dublin, a man that has managed to make money selling a box and passing it off as a musical instrument?

Fucking hell.

The list of potential managers being touted around for manu is the same list we will have, should he go. The list looks good.

Yeah and Danny Rose and Eric Dier signed for them a couple of seasons ago too

Same here, I'll just watch the A-League back home in Australia even if the quality is poor and raw. The idea of seeing Pochettino in a Man Utd tracksuit makes me sick. I'll always have an interest in Spurs, always, but I'll watch games like I watch a movie or a TV show, won't get caught up if we win or if there's a pressing matter...

A year ago - I figured Poch's most likely destination was United. Now? I don't think he leaves the club he clearly loves. Anything he can accomplish at United he can accomplish at Spurs - including winning a league or Champions League title.

I’m massively paranoid but I’m sure at the end of the game when the camera was on Poch and he was taking his applause, our bold coach (forget his name) said ‘are you going over (to the fans)?’ To which Poch said ‘I cant’...

Hopefully me being overly worried!
