Fromninnthe fround I think we have outplayed them but Trippier several times has given the ball away and finally we paid for it.

Sissoko will be a big miss but we do seem to come back from behind in games better than we hold a one goal lead so here’s hoping

Our CM Is non existent but yet again Trippier gifts the other team a goal.

Absolute overrated liability.

We’ve been shit and deserve to be one nil down.

This game playing out like I feared. We look like we are running on empty and our CM is shite.

Winks offers next to nothing. With no Sissoko we are screwed.

United will smell more goals. I have a feeling things could get a lot worse second half rather than better.

Eriksen is MIA yet again.

I love Poch but if there's ever a half to demonstrate his weaknesses that's it. Refuses to take off a clearly injured Sissoko for no apparent reason. And spends the whole half watching United counter with three of the paciest attackers in world football and somehow still doesn't realise the high line is a bad idea despite several prior chances. His Plan A is normally quite good but he seems incapable of adjusting in game before it's too late.

The ref wanted to get on with the game. Lamela was getting ready but not ready to come on at that specific moment. The choice was keep Sissoko on the pitch until the ball went out of play again or hook him off and play with ten men for the period.

Probably the only thing I would agree with Neville is, is that United shouldn't have kicked the ball out of play for Sissoko. Pretty poor commentating this match.

Then Trippier doing his best impression of the Wealdstone Raider was stupid.

The more Trippier plays, the better Aurier gets. The fact is Trippier isn't good enough, but he is still the best right back we have simply because he can cross the ball. I'd like to see KWP get a few more games, but not in a game against Utd.

Davies over Rose on the other hand is something that does totally bemuse me.
Yeah he's a better crosser than Aurier sure, but Serge is a far more competitive defender who makes less mistakes at the back. It makes sense to go for Trips against teams who are coming for a point, but surely if available Aurier would be more suited to this game.

If Sissoko’s hammy is gone we need reinforcements. I will personally nut on Levy’s fuckin’ bal’ head if this dwarf fuck doesn’t back Poch.

Hate to say it but that happens when you don't recruit in areas that are needed.

Will need a big second half here.

Only got ourselves to blame really.

Firstly, we're creating the conditions to be counter attacked. There were moments in that half where we are caught 2v2, 3v3, or even outnumbered, plenty in fact. Fullbacks pushed on, midfield committed forward, and when you aren't using the ball fantastically well, as we haven't all season in all truth, it's a dangerous game.

Then you add in that a player gives it away in those circumstances, under no pressure. A real gift.

It is no one's fault but our own.

Needs a big effort second half and for a few players to stop tiptoeing through the game and stand up and be counted.

Pundits and commentators can go fuck themselves...

I really want this win so badly today so they can get slapped hard on their own faces by their own dicks..

Yet again we concede a goal like this against a top 6 side. Man City, Arsenal and today against Man U. Always the same shit. They had 3-4 dangerous counter attacks before they scored. So naive.

And Levy needs to open his wallet. We need a CM fast. If Sissoko is out for several weeks, we only have Skipp and Winks at CM, with Eriksen/Alli who also can play at that position (but it's a waste to do that).

I can’t quite fathom what Trippier was trying to do looping a high pass square to a CM under pressure. Complete brain dead thinking.

What defensive history of KWP are you basing that on, though?

The only reason you're suggesting it is because the situation is despereate re. FBs.

Poch/Levy really needs to begin the process of replacement over the next two summer windows.
I agree, but we don't look like buying anyone anytime soon, so KWP is the best option.

Agree with that. Not sure if I’m watching the same game as Neville.

Before we continue laying into Trippier, maybe Poch should take some of the blame for playing a slow back four including a rusty Vertonghen against a team renowned for being quick on the counter attack.

Really beginning to dislike trippier

Davies is not exactly any better

Lorris did get a hand to it but I would have expected him to save it from that angle

I much prefer Davies. At least he can defend to a compotent standard.

I don't understand why we persist with this diamond with two of the worst fullbacks in the league, they have so much space but offer so little, very frustrating
