Some of you sound like opposition fans. Just sayin. Trippier is poor in a back 4, he's not a natural defender and was culpable for the goal. However, he is a much better player in a defensive 5. He isn't half the absurd names he's been labelled though. Played into United's hands really.
He’s been dogshit all season. Anyone shocked by his performance today has not been paying attention. It’s expected at this point. What pisses me off is that Poch continuously persevering with him.

I don't think we've been as bad as some here think.

Liable to the counterattack yes but we have looked like scoring. Second half will be tough without Sissoko.

How did Poch and his asisstants not see this happening?

Its like when we all knew Davies would get destroyed by Mane and Salah a while back and lo and behold, he did.

Real questionable decisions from such a good coach
We could maybe get away with it if Davies and Trips were faster, maybe, but it's so, so easy for Utd.

I was really pleased to see Vertonghen starting but you do feel Sanchez's pace would of come in handy in terms of dealing with their pace.

Is it? Defensively we’ve not had a sniff. They’ve been solid in midfield and barely given our creative players time to think. They’ve looked to get in time and time again, and nailed it just before half time.

They set a trap and we fell into it. They’ve been very good.

We’ve been shit.
We haven't been shit.

Come on lads - huge 2nd half.
Please don't lose to this lot, the confidence this gives them, they will get top 4 IMO if they win today as they will just be on huge confidence rest of season, which makes top 4 for us even tougher. we have to hold them away and that means stepping up 2nd half and getting a draw as a minimum.

No but he had no need to do that in big games you cannot afford that stupidity just not good enough we were at half time losing our main CM don't play it across ffs

Stupidity? One poor pass after a big change in midfield, is no one else culpable for that goal? Lloris who should have done better? Davies who was no where near Rashford? Why were we so exposed from one good pass?

It was a mistake, but fuck me, it's only half time. You think Serge or KWP is immune from a mistake? Was it his lack of pace that caused it?

We need a miracle second half, never seen our midfield look so physically weak, now sissoko is fucked Levy's gotta get the cheque book out.

So frustrating because we're one or two class midfielders away from making a proper decent push for a trophy this season

yup a 4-1-3-2 would help like i said before the game. need a holding midfielder to help defend against quick counters.

He misplaced a pass before a great ball from Pogba.

Start building the gallows sure lads.

Haul him off at half time, sack him, burn him etc.

Well said mate(y) because everyone else in our team have been outstanding, all Tripp's fault, particularly as everyone was making themselves available for him!! You are obviously watching the same game as me.

We absolutely need to test their defence second half, and I'm not talking about 25 yard ballooned shots from Winks.

I don’t understand Kane’s position. They are suspect in central defence and Kane has spent too much time in the left channel. Get him up against their CB’s and let him bring runners from deep into play from there.

I agree with this. We don't seem to be on the same wavelength and need to click. Both Winks and Kane have put lovely balls across the box only for no Spurs player to be anywhere near them.

Totally agree.

I'd think about bringing Sanchez on, as theyll certainly want to counter for the rest of the game.

We've created way more than we did against Chelsea although that's not saying much.

I bet Danny Rose would be Controlling Rashford just saying, are fullbacks are high up, Davies does not have the Pace to keep up, Trips well is the same.
