It’s not some random injury crisis either, Wanyama was broken already, Dembele is perennially injured/deal running out, all the World Cup players were seriously at risk of fatigue injuries, Winks has had multiple injuries last few years, Son had two planned international breaks during season, Lamela is always picking up injuries.

It is just so reckless and ridiculous to go through two windows without a signing. Maybe we’ll hit par this season in the end but yes it is incredibly unfair on Poch. He’s being left without tools now and that’s ignoring the stadium debacle.

He had choices placed in front of him and declined them - Levy is always going to be root problem, stop painting Poch in a light that isn't totally true. You sound like the media.

Injury crisis, players on duty, players not good enough in starting 11, Poch wanted... deluding yourself if you think that changes anything. We’ll never change. Can’t see us spending a penny.

ali z: we certainly have interest in Bowen and Aarons from Norwich young right back. No idea if it's any more than that but we desperately need two in, today we picked up 2 more injuries and are running out of players.
do we have money? yes not 100 m for 1 player money but we are not skint just Poch playing media games.

With where our squad is right now, we would need to spend 100m+ to keep up. That ain’t happening, and we will struggle for it. We can’t make money appear, and it’s great we may some day move into our new stadium, but it’s going to really lose its luster if it’s at the sacrifice of success. Time will tell, I guess.

I have to concur. Those are the two Championship players we are keen on.

I’m sorry but this is just shocking and I’m not saying it because we lost today.

These are not the type of signings to propel us any further up the table.

Do people really think Poch is happy signings prospects from the championship? Is this really what the new stadium is for? The big game changer to allow us to move up a level?

Bowen and Aaron's. It’s like Spurs haven’t changed from the days of Davies and Etherington.

It’s just deflating. Yes they may work out, but it’s incredibly unlikely. These are the deals clubs like Bournemouth do, not a top 3 side like we are now.

It’s bad enough that a side who were behind us last season now look like winning the league because they filled the holes in their squad. What are we doing? Where’s the ambition Levy?

Our squad is down to the bare bones. Our CM situation and striker situations are literally critically bad.

I absolutely refuse to believe Poch is happy with this type of “backing”.

We ain't signing a top class CM this window but if we're desperate we should be looking for another body, Fabian Delpth signing if you like.
