Well you had to find relevance in one thread I suppose, you try in every one. Throw enough shit and all that
Well not buying anyone is relevant to our depth issues, that we're currently suffering at several positions now..

I said on Sunday when I saw the footage it was a 6 week jobby....early March is basically 6 weeks.

I’m gutted he’d miss the bloody final of the league cup if we get there. That’s just gutting.

Dont worry, we wont get there

If it is similar to last year (and I know not all injuries are) he came back in less than 1 month but wasn't quite the same player for a good few weeks. It will be tough to know whether to bring him back less than 100% if we are struggling without him.

Sorry if it's been answered elsewhere but what's the latest date on Son's return?

Will be back after Newcastle regardless I think. Whether he’ll be the same played or totally knackered is another question entirely.

The task of reaching the final just got a whole lot tougher with H and Sonny. If I were a neutral and a betting man then id be lumping on Chelsea right now before the odds really start to tumble. Basically we have to keep a clean sheet as I cant see us scoring.

Just so gutting we've worked our arses off to get where we have and now we are just so light.

Who could we have bought that would have been happy to play second fiddle to Kane all year and be ready to slot in now and hit the ground running?

Lamela and Lucas need to step up now. We go on about needing depth, they are our current depth options. If they can’t get us through spells when players are injured they’re clearly not good enough depth and need replacing.

Our season is on the brink right now, it could very quickly fizzle out and lead to us desperately tying to hang onto 4th place in finals weeks.

There really are some drama queens in this thread. It will be what it is and we'll have to cope without him.

One man’s crisis is another man’s opportunity. This is seemingly a major blow but I’ll wait until I see how it pans out before I write off the season. Poch is still in charge and he’s made Sissoko unstoppable. Anything is possible.
I love the optimism! One man's crisis is another man's opportunity...

Trouble is, we don't have anyone available to take THAT opportunity @Dougal

Is that four ankle injuries in three seasons? Fucks sake.

If Son was around then I'd say we might just be able to cope - sometimes when Kane has been out we've actually played more dynamic football and our record without him is pretty good. However with Kane and Son both out and Lucas still injured, who the fuck are we going to play? We could start Llorente and Lamela, but then we have literally nothing off the bench any more.

Is there a striker out there we could bring in as emergency cover? I mean Llorente needs replacing anyway so why not do it now instead of in the summer?

With Moura injured, Lamela broken and Son off on international duty, I don’t think people are being overly dramatic.

We certainly need to strengthen the squad and with Kane now missing, we’re in a serious hole.
