It doesn’t work like that. The cynic in me thinks that we need to keep that massive net spend down before ENIC try to sell.
Guys, chillax..... Trust in Levy and Poch. Come end of the window we will all be happy
Shhh, don't, you'll break his heart. It doesn’t work like that.
Part of me hopes so but part of me knows this is the best spurs team I've had to support in my lifetime ?. As for Andy Carroll 2m to sit on the bench in place of llorente wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. I suspect we'll buy fuck all and just about make 4th.The cynic in me thinks that we need to keep that massive net spend down before ENIC try to sell.
We could still win the league for all we know (not saying we will). Hence why we dont need wholesale changes because we're very close now. However our fans have already given up on this season for some reason. So fine continue to write your own team off and show a lack of belief. It's just a shame we still have many fans with this mentality. We're a fucking great team with a lot of depth. We just need a few key signings to go along with academy players trickling through to the team. What the fuck has next season got to do with it as you have no clue as to how the other clubs will upgrade!
We are 3rd today but the season is not over and we have hurdles in the way!
We don't need any changes to the system, just a change in personal to ensure that they can deliver what Poch wants. Based on the ITK thus far it does not appear that the club have found anyone that Poch wants and Poch does not what has been offered.
Let's just get this season over with first!

That would be great if we invested in the academy but we don’t even do that. Nearly 7 years since we opened the new training centre and it isn’t like we have an academy that is better than our competitors who supposedly have worse facilities. Unsurprisingly the best young players choose Chelsea or City because surprise surprise they pay more, way more. Not only does this mean we don’t have a raft of young players pressuring the first team but it is economic idiocy as Chelsea fund their first team transfers by selling academy products. I think Pritchard was our last sale. Before anyone says I want us to sell Harry Kane, I don’t, I’d like to see us populate the academy with the very best young players and then promote them to the first team but that clearly needs money, money we won’t spend.Sometimes I wonder if the club's ultimate aim is to cease inward transfers altogether, except for extraordinary circumstances, and rely solely upon academy prospects. They're certainly giving that impression.
