Has to be the right player at the right time, but he's not sure if he'd have the money...

KWP is a RB! I know he plays there for England unders etc. That is not his position. Certain aspects of his convictions on certain players, to the demise of others. His stubbornness on reluctance on suggested signings, and sticking with what we have. This is my gripe and opinion.

That was brilliant.

Agreed. I’ve never seen him this animated and breaking from the standard quotes he rolls out week after week.

He really put the last journalist in his place and any speculation that he’s not in this for the long haul.

A great, great press conference.

Only downer was his face when he said today he’s not confident of signing anyone. It tells me we’re definitely not bringing anyone in.

So Sky Sports have the full transcript of his press conference on their website but have omitted the part where he says ‘I will be here until the end’ (unless I’m going mad, which is possible)

https://www.skysports.com/football/...sionate-defence-of-tottenham-progress-in-full

It’s not there but then the paragraphs they have are completely different to what’s reported in the BBC article. There’s 2 interviews given isn’t there one for general media and then further time with the printed press? Not that I think that’s what has happened here.

Maybe what sky have reported is his opening 6 and a half minute statement and the “to the end line” and the other quotes the beeb have came further in to the interview.

Either way I’m sure there’s some genuine reason for it’s omission, I’d be really really surprised if SKY had removed a paragraph of his opening speech, just because it might be some positive news for Spurs fans.

Does anyone know when 'the end' is? What does that mean? Until he retires? Is that the end? Or is it when he walks away? Could that be the end? Perhaps he means he's started watching Game of Thrones and will stick with us until 'the end' of that? It's a bit vague and TBH could mean anything. I suspect it's just something he said without putting as much thought into it as we would all like to think.

Surely there is only one possible interpretation: he is going to stay with us forever and will never, ever leave. Even when we're trotting out the old favourite "he has taken us as far as we can, it's time for him to go" following a record breaking 25:0 victory at Old Trafford, he will forgive us all and sign a new contract taking him up to his 175th birthday.
