Also, there's two teams in a football match. Southampton made some brave changes at half-time, were fighting for their lives, and did very well. It's not always just about us "bottling" it. They deserve credit too.

KWP is not good enough. I think he’s actually slower than Trippier, and even worse defensively.

A couple of nice bits of skill, one of which coughed up the ball and gave them a big old chance, but yeah, you can see why he's not picked often and that doesn't mean our other RBs are great shakes either

No. But it's about perspective. Every team in the world hits tough form sometimes. We're meant to be supporters, getting behind the team, most especially when it ain't easy. We like to go on about "mentality", but frankly it's often us who lack that the most - panicking at a poor spell and declaring that we now have no chance of 4th even though everybody else in the race has had similar runs if not worse. We're going to have five home games at the best stadium in the country. If we have a racous, supportive crowd - even if we go behind - we have a much better chance. COYS.
So the answer is to mark multiple posts as 'spam' based on people's disappointment with the performance on the pitch?

This is becoming a very typical trend.
We pass around the back, left to right, take our time, possession and carve out a few chances and often score one goal. But only one and then we switch off.

We don’t ramp up a gear, and worse, the opponents are getting used to „it’s only one goal lads“.

As such they can always push the last 15-20 and keep up momentum should they score, which unfortunately the are now doing. We don’t / can’t respond and that momentum is all with the opponent.

We have to push for more goals. We cannot just play one tempo football, even if it percentage wise is reliable, it’s starting to cost us results.

Our squad is so poor.

KWP was really poor today whilst Lucas was fucking dreadful in the second half.

Why do we wait 20 mins in to the second half to make changes?

We never react to opposition changes and it’s such a fucking arrogant approach.

The thing is we did create a whole heap of chances but we fucked up. The game should have been won in the first half. No excuses for the second, we should have come out scored the second then played the game out.
And Kane was so jovial about his misses. Come on Bro, now those misses are biting us dead

Not finishing our chances first half ultimately cost us, but Danny Rose dummying the ball across the box when he had no clue what was behind him has to be up there with the dumbest piece of play i have ever seen on a football pitch.

Can’t believe what he done :banghead::facepalm:

Actually looking at the table I didn't even realise quite how close it was - no European football at the new stadium next season at all then, not even Europa.

Probably a good thing. Maybe not for making money/keeping current players but might help to bring everyone associated with the club back down to earth and back to where we belong in the food chain.

Poch has to take some responsibility with his team selection regarding the defence, our formation is always changing as is our personnel in defence

850 MIL + Stadium and very likely no CL. I just wonder who will be here at the beginning of next season. £200 mil for Kane, £80 mil for Ali, £80 mil for Eriksen. Levy must be rubbing his hands and saying "I Love it when a Plan comes together. For F.... Sake.

Half of me is glad I didn't go out on the piss and have to endure arseholes taking the flat out.

The other half thinks, well at least I'd be half shit faced and not giving a feck.

Very very bad
Nothing to enjoy about spurs at the moment
We'll be lucky to have champions league next season -with whatever players or manager we have then
Was nice while it lasted
Yeah, can't think of any positives to be honest. No new stadium, or Champions League quarter-final, or squad with multiple exciting attacking players and England internationals. It's just like the 90s again!

We literally won the other day away at Dortmund. But god knows what has happened to our attitude in the league.

The 3 goals from first leg shaped that game, if it had been 0-0 from first game we'd probably done worse.

This season has really challenged my love of football, not going to lie. The best Spurs team in my lifetime and we've rested on our laurels, despite achieving nothing. What a waste.

And now 22 days to wait for the opportunity to put it right. Only the simple matter of a trip to Anfield ffs.
