It’s not like those 2 players are getting us Champions League so what difference does it make if they stay. This team has run its course. Time to rebuild.

Rose played a SICKKKKKKK dummy into Vallery's path to setup the first goal. KWP kicked a guy while he was running clear on goal and then JWP (no relation to KWP) scored a fartasmic free kick that we all knew was coming!
A bloody pathetic 2nd half performance. Poch has got his work cut out now and don't think we'll make top 4 now. 1 point from 12 makes us bottom of the form guide for last 4 matches.
3 bloody away defeats in a row, when we did have the best away record in the top 5 leagues a few weeks back. Now we wait 3 weeks for our next match which is away to Scousers, so make that 4 away defeats in a row.
This is what happens when you don't invest on the pitch. Who f'ing cares about off the pitch investment when we dish up crap on it?

Yeah it was unprofessional from all of us. I think Kanes all round play was good, his finishing though was poor and at times hurried

Absolutely deserved.
You had easily impressed people on here crowing at half time about how amazing we were playing. The reality was we weren't sharp at all, Southampton were beyond woeful, and even in second gear this was enough to threaten and look alright. We should have had the game won, but it really wasn't great.
The second half was just disgraceful. We saw how good we were playing when the opposition actually put some effort in......
We barely had the ball and any control from the first whistle of it. It was abundantly clear early on that some of them had completely switched off (Rose, Vertonghen), others just disappeared out of the game entirely as the going got tough (Dier, Sissoko, Eriksen, Kane), and Moura was just tragic.
Special mention though for the brains trust on the touchline, and in the stands. Second half we go back to the diamond for some reason. Have three stood up front, and yet again for some reason channel the spirit of Redknapp - let the game get open, put up with all the bollocks in between, eventually we'll outgun the opposition. Well it didn't work. I don't want to see it, please stop fucking doing it.
League campaign has now pretty much fallen apart, that is a very damaging loss and we need a big response. We have done for weeks tbh, but it hasn't come.......

I finally realise why other supporters see us a joke of a club.
We will never win anything like this. The team is just not good enough and I think we and the players themselves have bought into their own hype.

Getting really fed up with our experienced players making dumbass mistakes that always cost us. Too many of them have an overinflated sense of how good they are.

People keep on saying that this season’s poor performances aren’t down to a lack of investment.
New signings are needed to freshen the team up and give players a kick up the arse.

6th gives Europa League after City took the League Cup. Good chance 7th will be enough as well as our rivals pick up cup trophies again.

Yes, but we needed the win big time. Front to back we're the better side and we needed to ram that home when on top.
Yet again we have failed to be ruthless.
Had we been, the second half would of been a professional seeing the game out job.
That's a significant moment today, very significant.
